What customers say
Lovely spacious pitches, great staff, fishing, and clubhouse. Close to Skegness. Mostly clean facilities, though showers/toilets a bit old and water pressure can be iffy. Few grumbles about ants and not much for little ones.

Great place to stay, peaceful and relaxing by day ,
Electric optional grass tent pitch (medium)
Liked The disabled shower is very roomy
And with a removable head shower, you can easily sit and shower .
The walk around the lakes is both stunning and relaxing,
The staff are very friendly
The club house very welcoming
Other campers were very friendly too,
Situated middle , makes it easy to get to other attractions
Lincolnshire wildlife park is a must , it’s amazing
Dave’s cafe just down the road, where you can get a massive choice of food and drink,
You can even bring your dog,
The pitch is a good space for a 7 person tent a gazebo and car ,
Plenty of walks, lots of birds , lots of fish to watch and feed ,
The main toilet block has plenty of toilets and showers . Sometimes they were messed up, and no toilet roll .
Disliked The man in the next caravan was loud shouting at night which scared my kids ,
The disabled toilet the rail is rotten desperately needs replacing
The showers are … well could do with a limescale clean or new heads , one shower only had a trickle of water, on my head but but still managed to get all my clothes shoes and towel wet ,and the shower door , I ended up collecting my stuff and going to the next shower .
It was a little awkward because the next shower only has a broken hook to hang up your stuff , but this was by far the best shower out of them all.
Despite the 10 mph car rule, a car chose to ignore , !
Maybe could do with a basic little shop on site,
Maybe have a lunch option in the clubhouse

The campsite was disappointing for families…
Electric optional grass tent pitch (medium)
Liked The campsite was disappointing for families with children. The site felt overcrowded and there was very little space for kids to play safely or enjoy themselves.
The biggest issue was the shower facilities. The water temperature became dangerously hot at times, reaching a point where it felt scalding. Using the showers was uncomfortable and raised genuine safety concerns, especially for children. I reported this to a member of the grounds staff and asked if the temperature could be adjusted, but was told that nothing could be done, which was frustrating and unacceptable.
Based on our experience, the campsite did not meet our expectations. However, Butlin’s itself remains a great destination for families. With the right accommodation, it can still provide an enjoyable holiday experience.
