Motorhomes welcome (added by manager 11 jul 2015)
Tent next to fishing lake (added by visitor 11 jul 2022)

  • Two miles from the beach at Mablethorpe
  • Golf course, aqua park, bar and restaurant on a 170-acre site
  • Several fishing lakes plus tackle shop
Aaaarrrr! Guests of all sizes will find stacks to do at good-looking and quiet Grange Leisure Park two miles from Mablethorpe, like packing the kids off to scale the heady heights of the adventure playground's pirate ship while the grownups concern themselves with the serious matters of casting or teeing off… Casting off is at the park's six scenic fishing lakes filled with good-sized carp, roach, bream, perch and a few more scaly species (if you haven't brought your gear, the basics are for sale in the site tackle shop). For teeing off, Grange has a nine-hole golf course; day tickets are available at reception where you can also hire clubs. There's also an outdoor aqua park available for guests' use for an extra charge, and a leisure complex with a showbar, bar and restaurant, arcade, café and supermarket. Entertainment and fishing is included in the pitch price. After the fish/golf balls have been tamed and the kids have gone wild in the playground (they'll find a zipwire, swings, slide and quite a bit more there too) guests of all sizes can meet up in the Badgers Barn Pub for a bite and a tipple (possibly not the latter for smaller guests). And then, a stroll to walk it all off? Ambling options are all around: Grange Leisure Park is on 170 acres of farmland and fields, with clear open views, miles of trails and wildlife in abundance. If you're wandering into Mablethorpe, the beach is about a mile away, but if you're feeling full/ lazy, the local bus stops right outside the site. A new amenities block was added in 2018.

Liked: Clean arcade Nice pond

Disliked: Dogs cannot go in any inside areas. We went a day early due to noisy road and neighbours shouting til 3 in morning. Reception didn’t want to know why we went early. Women’s toilet not getting cleaned(poo on walls)

Electric grass tent or touring caravan pitch

Liked: Staff were very friendly.. Came to check up on us daily. Good security during later hours. Good location and a variety of activities to do. Central facilities were good as well.

Disliked: Our pitch must have had a car stuck before as had a load of built up grass. This left big holes and with the rain they filled up and we were worried they would spill into our tent. Not enough wash pan facilities as had to queue on more than one occasion. Also unless you went to use the showers first thing there was a queue.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked: The pitches were a good size. The park was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly. Good entertainment. Well-stocked shop. Kids loved the arcades, park and football court. Easy to get to Mablethorpe and only 25mins to Skegness. Heated shower blocks. Liked the lakes in the centres and pitches around the edges. That you could use the swimming pool at the sister caravan park at Skegness for free.

Disliked: The shower blocks weren't the cleanest due to other campers. Would have been good to have a mop and bucket to clean the shower floors after muddy shoes had been in. Only one camp kitchen sink to use at our toilet block so had to wait for the sink.

Liked: The park had everything we needed. Play area, well stocked fishing lake, cafe, pub, amusements and many clean toilet blocks with showers!

Disliked: The wet floors in the bathrooms were slippy, but it was really raining and that couldn't be helped.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked: nice to look over the fishing lake.

Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities were very dirty, rubbish bins overflowing. Could put owt down without it getting nicked but that’s not the site it’s the people who visit. Terrible food in restaurant. Send 2 meals back 3 times and eventually asked for refund. Would have been better if the facilities were better maintained. The local Chinese they rave about (chine rose) and chip shop (Robin Hood) were terrible, don’t waste your money.

Liked: Nice clean site with plenty to do.

Disliked: Was rung a week before we were due to arrive asking our time of arrival, I confirmed 12pm and was told that was ok. Left early at 9am on the morning of check in date only to be rung an hour and half into the journey that we can't check in till 3pm, we then had three hours to waste before being able to check in. Not the end of the world but bad organization and offered no explanation why the change of time when id already confirmed 12pm.

Local attractions

Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea, Ingoldmells, Skegness and other Lincolnshire lovelies are all close by for the coastal connoisseurs; and market towns, villages and the Lincolnshire Wolds easy to get to inland. At Mablethorpe, many visitors wander through the dunes to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary, home of many a brightly-coloured bird, birds of prey, primates, reptiles and roguish-looking meerkats as well as the seals. Kids and big kids will probably also like Mablethorpe's miniature railway, boating lake and funfair; fans of the latter should add in Ingoldmells, home of Fantasy Island theme park. This is also a cracking area for nature: more seals can be seen at the popular Donna Nook National Nature Reserve down the coast between Grainthorpe Haven and Saltfleet, and a huge nature reserve teeming with squawking seabirds is at Gibraltar Point near Skegness. Also nearby, bob about in boats or cast off again at the waters of the Lincolnshire Wolds, alongside many miles of trails and bridleways to walk, cycle or horse ride, or bob around Lincolnshire's market towns: recommended options include Alford, Louth and Lincoln.
