Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)
Liked: Clean modern surroundings and facilities Friendly staff
Disliked: Noisy birthday celebration going on until after 1am on Saturday morning from other campers, noise rules and times not enforced by management Pitches very close to each other. Wifi unusable with very poor coverage Overstocked fishing lake , fishing was like playing hook a duck, catching 150 fish in a couple of hours isn’t fun nor is it fishing. No local shops or amenities within walking distance for elderly people. walks are limited to walking around an open field which has construction taking place , around a small lake and single track roads.

Liked: Peace and quite with big pitches plenty of water points
Disliked: The entrance l thought was a bit of an issue if someone is trying to leave the site as your entering , simply because if you are arriving and need to report to reception you cannot get in passed the barrier and if someone wants to leave your in the way until you have received the entrance code . So l can only imagine that during the busier months it must be a nightmare.

Liked: The site itself is beautiful and well-kept. The facilities are decent and always found clean. The check-in process was easy. The owners are super friendly and happy to help.
Disliked: There are loads of ducks and geese, which isn't an issue but if you're lucky enough to have a bird obsessed dog like us, they might not relax as much as you'd thought. 100% my dog is the problem, but worth noting if yours is similar.
