  • Landscaped adults-only site with 10 acres and two fishing lakes
  • A 15-minute drive to Boston or RSPB Frampton Marsh
  • Dog-friendly; easy access from A16 or A17
Ten acres of space, two fishing lakes, two main roads close by for easy journeys… the numbers stack up pretty well for Walnut Lakes, in the Lincolnshire countryside just under 15 minutes’ drive from Boston. There’s plenty of space to relax at this park, and it’s all reserved for the grownups, as children aged 14 and under are not permitted on site. Dogs are very welcome, however, and can have a good stretch of the legs on the dedicated half-mile dog walk. As the park is so handily placed for both the A16 and A17, it’s also easy to get out and about to lots of other good places for a walk (whether you’re taking a dog or not…) The central highlight of this farm site is the two lakes, Walnut and Daisy – both fabulous spots for fishing (please bring the relevant licence along) or simply chilling out by the water and enjoying the views. You’ll get views across the lakes from all around the park too, if you’d rather hide out in your own little private corner for a while. This is a park with something of a rural atmosphere, but it’s also one that’s well placed for amenities – within a mile you can walk to a couple of pubs, shops, a restaurant and bus stops (for services to Boston and Spalding). The surrounding area has plenty more to offer in terms of places to eat, drink and shop as well. And of course, it’s well supplied with attractions for your days out too – have a look at the information on site for some ideas.

Daisy Lake electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked: We have passed this site many times but this was our first stay and what a lovely stay we had the new managers were very friendly and helpful the site is an absolute treasure. the pitches are large with ehu if needed. the toilets and showers are very nearby. The site is very relaxing with two lovely lakes. we will defiantly be booking again for a longer stay next time. we had a lovely meal down the road at the American restaurant. This is a very convenient site near to Boston and Spalding and on route to norfolk so perfect for us.

Daisy Lake electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked: What a lovely surprise we just stayed at walnut lakes we have driven past so many times and didn't realise how lovely the site was, its a real hidden oasis. the pitches are large hardstanding and grass with electric hook up . they have two toilet and shower blocks and two fantastic fishing lakes with the best fish i have ever fished in my camping life. The site is run by a lovely couple very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again for a longer stay the site is so relaxing and very well maintained well worth £24 a night I would actually say it is under priced for such a lovely place. Our dog loved it too there is a long dog walk all the way around the site. We had a great meal down the road at the American restaurant a 10 minute walk away.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike here fantastic place to stay

Daisy Lake electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked: Well maintained small and pleasant site with picturesque fishing lake in the centre.

Disliked: Constant loud sound of heavy traffic along the very close A17 road. Electric hook-up arrangement whereby had to purchase pre-pay credit on a card retained by site owner charged £10.00 cash for two nights - we were in a motorhome and only on-site during hours of darkness! Not advised of this arrangement until arrival - never experienced such arrangements before and don't like it. Lincolnshire has some nice areas, unfortunately the site is not located in one of them.

From the manager: Electric is optional and you can choose how much you want normally people use £2.00 a day depending on electrical items. You only pay for what you use If paid by cash for electric cash refund will be given. We are on the main route to Norfolk so at times the road can be busy. But the site is 10 acres and pitches are well away from the road noise

Lovely site with clean facilities. Bit too hemmed in for us.

Daisy Lake electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked: Nice, clean site with lovely owners.

Disliked: Despite a 1 night stay of the most inconsiderate neighbours we enjoyed the rest of our stay peacefully. Road noise. The site is sandwiched between two noisy, busy roads one of which is an A road. Unless you want to cross said roads or go out in the van all the time you're pretty much marooned. The write up on location of site to local areas is more 'as the crow flies' than opposed miles travelled in the car.

From the manager: we are located on the a17 which is the main route to Norfolk there is a foot path on our side of the road all the way to the local village and nearby large service station with mc donalds burger king a smokehouse restaurant starbucks and two convenience stores. this is Lincolnshire countryside so there are not buses like you would expect in a town or city. our site suits people who want a relaxing break with fishing or you can drive either direction to boston or spalding towns
