  • Peaceful site on a working family farm in rural Leicestershire
  • Five minutes' drive to Kilworth House Theatre; Foxton Locks 15 minutes
  • Easy access from the M1; village shop and pub a mile away
Shopping around for somewhere with lovely rural views for your Leicestershire break? Set your compass for Cote Hill Farm Stay, part of a working family farm about a mile from the village of Husbands Bosworth – on a clear day, the views from here stretch out for up to three miles. With a backdrop like that, and a setting where your nearest neighbours will be the cows in the next-door fields, this is a peaceful location indeed – just the thing for a bit of relaxation time for families, couples or small groups. You won’t be far from amenities and things to do, though – there are lots of canal paths, woodland walks and cycle trails around, and you’ll be close to attractions like Stanford Hall and Foxton Locks. Getting to and from the site should be straightforward enough, as the site is only about 10 minutes’ drive from the M1, via a journey that’s almost entirely on an A road. Lutterworth and Market Harborough are both about 10-15 minutes’ drive away for shops and other facilities, but if you don't fancy going that far, it’s handy to have a pub and a convenience store on hand in the local village too. Facilities on site include a washing-up area and a toilet block with showers. Barbecues are permitted if you’d like to try a bit of outdoor cooking.

Shepherd's hut (ensuite)

Liked Carolyne, the host was very friendly. The Shepherds hut is well thought out, spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Very nice personal touches too. Good tea and coffee and nice loo roll!!

Amazing location and views. Tranquility at its best ! Thank you

Disliked Long life milk supplied, thank you…but we’d have loved a wee fridge for our Bubbles and fresh farm milk. But realise space is an issue.

Will definitely be back , peaceful well kept site

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked It's a quiet spot next to a farm. It's a rather small meadow but that makes the location more intimate. There are two toilets and one shower. The facilities are clean and tidy. For us the location had all we wanted.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked This is a lovely small campsite with incredible views, it is well kept, cows are on-site to keep you company, and the owner is friendly and welcoming.

There are a couple of pubs a short walk away (30minutes), although these are accessed via roads, as opposed to country walks.

Overall this is a nice little campsite that I would definitely recommend for a visit.

Disliked A slight downfall is there are only two toilets and one shower to share between the campsite so if you are looking to leave at a set time you may have a bit of a wait.
