Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Very clean, tidy & organised site. In great location for exploring the canal. Almost on-site pub was great for when you didn't fancy cooking or wanted some home comforts. The facilities were very clean and it's the first place I have camped where the showers are actually thought about. There was a bench and hooks to place all your dry items, so you're not hopping from dry to wet feet/areas to try and change after showering. Will definitely visit again.

Disliked Only minor gripe, was told at reception that there were two fields for tents. I decided to go to the further/quieter field. Someone in a motorhome asked me to move pitch, to the far end, as there was a rally the next day. Was told it was the "rally field". Bit of miscommunication somewhere.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Friendly staff, level pitches, decent bathrooms. Walks, Wetlands and pub close by - ideal as weather was a bit hit and miss.

Disliked I expected canal side pitches/views but couldn’t see canal from site. The food at the Tudor Arms was tasty but the pub itself wasn’t particularly nice, nor was the cafe nearby. Didnt quite meet my expectations.
