Liked Owners were very friendly, knew the local area & were on site.
All facilities were clean.
Had bricks and fire blankets for all to use, which made us feel safe in the extreme hot weather.Freezer was good to freeze ice packs and bottled water. Lovely friendly, peaceful site in a beautiful forested area. Great for walking or biking on forest trails.

Everything. From being warmly greeted by Jess…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Everything.
From being warmly greeted by Jess on arrival, to the stunning views. This place is a must stay! The facilities were immaculate every time we used them. Everything has been thought about here, from shampoo holders in the showers, sanitary bags, and even individual cloths on the sinks for guests to keep the place tidy for others after their own usage. We had decent pitch sizes on level ground. Amenities all within a short distance. Information notices on the shower/toilet blocks for places to eat and visit was a lovely touch and incredibly helpful!
Everyone on site during our stay was respectful with the quiet times as well which is always a bonus when you’re wanting a peaceful holiday.
We will be booking again for next year!

Excellent campsite that I would happily book again
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked An open, spacious campsite. Easy to check in. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent shower, toilet and washing facilities.
Disliked Not really a dislike, but the lack of shrubs and trees meant you were open to the breeze/wind and lacked a little for privacy. Conversely, that also meant a sense of space and plenty of space for kids to play.

Liked Great plase to stay, very friendly owner and staff. Small place so nice and quiet area with a beautiful view.
The reception has a small shop with all kids of stuff that's needed, from food to tent pegs and air mattress.
Showers and toilets ready clean, campsite in general really tidy and clean
There's also a lot of information about the area, what you can visit and what you can do. I highly recommend this campsite
Disliked I only gave 8 stars because of the below:
* Showers are in the same room with the toilets... Sometimes the 'perfume' of the toilet doesn't make the shower enjoyable.
* Showers don't have temperature adjustment. While the water wasn't boiling hot, I personally don't enjoy very hot showers. Especially in the heat I'd like a cooler shower. If you get a sunburn you'll definitely not be able to shower there.
* There's no WiFi. While some networks have coverage, O2 is very poor.
* The washing machine is locked only on one setting at 40 degrees cycle, some of my clothes need 30 degrees so I couldn't wash everything I needed
