Liked: We were welcomed warmly and communication with Jess was excellent as we were arriving slightly later.
The site was amazing, facilities exceptional and warm greetings whenever we saw the hosts. We were travelling with our 2 dogs and were given great help finding suitable walks.
The site is situated brilliantly for access to the forests and some amazing dog walking.
A great find of a site we will mot hesitate to use again
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Such a beautiful place, lovely well groomed pitches with some parts left for wildlife
Toilets and washing up area are immaculate, the best I've ever seen
Jess, the owner, is so accommodating and lovely
Some, inconsiderate, dog owners felt the 'dogs on leads at all times ' didn't apply to them. Jess was very quick to let them know it applied to everyone
Will definitely be coming back here
Disliked: Not the owners fault, but inconsiderate dog owners with dogs off their leads
BE MORE CONSIDERATE IF STAYING HERE WITH DOGS, we don't all love your dogs like you do!!

Liked: What a beautiful and well kept small site!
We had a lovely large pitch with electric, clear boundaries and although very slightly sloped, the ground was very even. Plenty of space for our tent, side awning, car and for our 6 year old to play without disturbing others.
Water, washing up and toilet/shower facilities were always spotless and cleaned often. There are 3 showers in each block, which is perfect for the size of site and I never had to queue to use them or the toilets. There is also an accessible toilet/shower room too. The site was at capacity for our entire stay, but as a small site it never felt crowded.
Jess is the most attentive owner I’ve ever come across! Friendly, happy to help and always available. We had a slight issue with our electric and she was straight out with a solution. She runs reception and a small shop which has everything you may need food/drink wise and also some emergency supplies for us campers!
Plenty of information on the board outside the toilet for takeaways, restaurants, places to visit, local walks etc and Jess also has flyers for the most popular attractions in reception.
We hired a fire pit, which for £12 per night with wood and kindling is really well priced. My daughter loved having smores every night!
Would most definitely stay again!

Liked: Lovely quite and secluded location - walk is about 20 mins to the nearest (small) shop and pub, very welcoming and accommodating host, dog friendly, facilities were kept clean, reception includes a small essentials shop which was great, view was outstanding, generously sized pitches.
Disliked: Nothing really to dislike!
Only thing is, as a young couple without kids I normally book Adult only sites. I knew this was a family friendly one (and during half term), and it is the quietest and most respectful family friendly one I've stayed at! But I'd probably still return outside of school holidays next time is all.

Liked: Clean large pitch. The staff were lovely helped us to find out about a day out with the children. Even came to check the toilet roll levels at 10pm. The shower block was lovely warm and clean and the showers were a good pressure too. Literally cannot fault it.
