Liked Poynton Cross is a great location, very clean and has simple amenities, which is exactly what myself and my 9 year old wanted. Well appointed for walks, local pubs for dinner and general excellent exploring. And very friendly owners too! We shall revisit.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Friendly service by James who came to great us a few minutes into us arriving and beginning to set up camp. Lovely views and setting for the site.
Good walking access to local pubs and within short drives to local towns and villages.
Disliked Could do with being better signposted. Even when using the given postcode, the site does require a short drive down a bridal way which the sat nav (at least in my car) didn’t account for.
