Appreciated as in on EE🤣
Bus to and from Ashbourne//Buxton not frequent but running 👍
Disliked: Pitch configuration could be better but did not inpacked our stay.
If walking from the site be cautious as no foot paths and no lights, so take a torch.
Not really dislikes just observations.

Liked: Really tidy, Lovely and clean. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Mirror for hairdryer was too high for somebody of 5 foot, hair dryer then didn’t reach a different mirror. Small dislike wasn’t a major issue.

From the manager: Thank you for your review and feedback which is always important - we will look at the hairdryer situation. I have been wanting to replace them anyway so I will definitely take your feedback into consideration. Hopefully next time you stay we'll have shiny new ones and a better mirror placement. Thank you!

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Absolutely loved our stay at Hartington Hills. Greeted by a lovely member of staff on arrival and shown around the site and to our camping pitch.
The site is beautiful, well maintained, and the views are delightful. The pitch was large, nice soft grass and only a slight slope, but otherwise flat.
The on-site shop was well stocked, the toilets and shower facilities were impeccably clean (with lovely hot water), there’s a sink for washing your dishes, and there’s even a freezer where you can store your freezer packs.
There are some great walks nearby (we took one of the recommended circular walks to Hartington, provided on the website).
We don’t live far from this camp site, but, even so, we’ll definitely be staying here again.
Thank you so much HH!

Liked: Welcomed by a lovely lady on reception who was extremely helpful throughout stay, nice pitch with fantastic views, very peaceful and relaxing stay. The shower/toilet block gets a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, would recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a peaceful break.
Disliked: The pub was further away than I imagined by foot. Not a dislike as such, more an observation that there’s not much for children to do, more of an adult site in my opinion.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for your review, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. The pub is 10-15 minutes on foot depending on your pace, there is a route through the fields which is rather lovely.
Great pitch, pretty much level. EHU and water tap on the pitch.…
