Liked Quite peaceful site. large pitches, toilet shower block were very good to top it off they were air conditioned a god send in the hot weather we have been having. Enjoyed our stay. Its a pitty that some people are not as considerate to others on the site
Disliked The roads leading to site. A total disgrace. Cracked. Pot holes subsidised large dips in road not good for towing a caravan. To be honest the track that leads from the highway to camp site is far better. You just have to be careful and travel under 10mph . The end goal is worth it. The only other negative was not the sites fault but we had unruly neighbours who did not adhere to site etiquette. Noisy after 10pm and smoke from there makeshift bbq drifting onto other pitches. As it was hot all caravan windows and skylights were open caravan smelt terrible. Did speak to them but to no avail

Liked The site was very tranquil pitch sizes were very good had a peaceful stay didn't see owners .cafe on site was good. Showers an toilets were adequate. Overall it was a great get away. The only negative is that prehaps the loos and shower block could be checked and cleaned more often as no loo roll on sunday and not been cleaned as loo was a tad dirty
Disliked Enjoyed our stay
One thing is there are no bins for disposal of poo bags except one large bin near entrance. Prehaps a bin near dog walking area wifi although its mentioned and a password given no access

From the manager: Thank you Andrew for your lovely review, you found lots of things to like so that is lovely. Regarding turning right on the main road, we do advise our customers to turn left back on to the A249 and go up to the next big u-turn. Here you can pull into a separate lane to turn right and wait for a gap where it is much clearer to see as it is level. You can then pull into a separate lane and swing back on to the A249 in the opposite direction and come back on yourself. We have recently made improvements to our wifi but we do find if there is anything going on at the Kent show ground (the weekend you stayed was Paws in the Park) unfortunately our phone signal and wifi does tend to suffer a bit. We apologise for this but hope that it will not put you off from staying again. The Oak ViewTeam.

Liked Open space
Disliked Litter everywhere, pitches un kept, shower dirty, nowhere to hang things floor giving way and flooding. Keypad entry. Very run down site

From the manager: I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The newer shower blocks do have hanging space whereas the older ones do not, we are waiting for the materials to replace the flooring and curtain poles will be replaced. There is a keypad entry to ensure only guests staying have access to them, easier than having a key or card as these could be forgotten or lost. The ground always looks shabby when there has been no rain for weeks, no excuse for cigarette ends being dropped.

Liked Lock
Disliked Signage to site very small cant see from road as on bend. Name of site not the same as on pitchup. How ever anyone found this site for first time is beyond me. Locked gate, a very very strong smell of sewage unbearable at times, showers not that inviting. Unbearable noise from road and trains, it seems they put none members on the field near road and train line. Was unaware it was a members only site
