Play Area

General

  • On ten acres of parkland on the outskirts of King's Lynn
  • Eco-friendly amenities including family room and disabled provision
  • Within five minutes' drive of a 24-hour supermarket

Fancy taking your folk to Norfolk? Got a yen for the Fens? Check out King’s Lynn Caravan and Camping Park, where the manicured, spacious pitches are nuzzled into ten acres of established emerald parkland on the outskirts of King’s Lynn.

A swanky, eco-friendly block houses the free hot showers, toilets and vanity cubicles (there’s also a roomy family bathroom and very good disabled provision), plus facilities for washing up and laundry, and freezers for ice packs.

Guests can pick up the basics from the small shop within the reception area, but the site is in any case well-served for local amenities: there’s a big 24-hour supermarket five minutes’ drive away, and a variety of top-notch hostelries and eateries where you can sample the local ale and cuisine (plus a few of the more well-known child-friendly/takeaway chains within easy driving distance).

    Locality to large supermarkets.

    Too much to list.

From the manager...

When a customer is found by the owner in a clearly signed off / prohibited area – and refuses to explain what he is doing, who he is or whether he is even staying here, it’s a little strange to say the least! One of the owners was going round the entire site to inform all guests we would have to legally close to holiday guests due to latest government lockdown and make sure everyone was aware of this – whilst everyone else was lovely and understood, there is always one person that told us “he would do what he wanted” and it was “none of our business” and wouldn’t tell us if/when he would be leaving and even said “you’re not the owner”. First time for everything! We don’t want problem people here. Needless to say it was made clear to him he will not be allowed back.

Flat pitches, free to choose which one I preferred which was nice. On site staff we're lovely, the kids loved the park and the seasonals with their lights on at night.

Family bathroom was an excellent touch! My kids are used to a bath so was great.

    Disliked:

Had to ask were Elsan point was as not told upon arrival and it wasn't next to the toilet block where you'd expect. No biggy though.

Great shower block. Easy to find. Free WiFi. It's just off "A" road so no need to drive down back lanes to find it. Flexible time of arrival.

    Disliked:

Slightly less characterful than some other sites I have visited probably because there was no view apart from 12ft hedges. But some of the smaller more characterful sites often don't have the same level of features such as free WiFi, shop etc. So the trade off is character vs practicality.
