FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Good sized pitches
Very friendly reception
Great location next to the beach add lovely beach walks
Beautiful bright flowers at reception create a great welcome
Gym was a good addition
Pool was really lovely but could do with being open later
Disliked Not enough space for dog owners to drink, we had to sit outside in the rain or not have a drink at all even though the main bar was virtually empty
The wet rooms we were advised to use need to be checked more often

Bronze FHU gravel and cement/asphalt campsite
Liked This was a great place to stop off -
Reception staff were really friendly and helpful
Pool area was fabulous, really clean, spacious with a bar and seating area
Restaurant and bar were good with a wide selection of food and plenty of inside/ outside seating
Facilities here were the best we experienced - toilet, sink, shower and space to dry add get dressed
Washing up sinks at the pitches was handy
Disliked More shade needed particularly in such a dry area, additional of some tarp covered pitches would be good
Lots of mosquitoes at this site but I’m not sure if there’s anything you can do about that but be sure to wear spray and wrist bands if eating outside

FHU grass travel trailer campsite
Liked It is more of a loved than a liked for Camping du Chateau de Leychoisier:-
*Charm, ambience were just idyllic
*We were desperate for some shade after that heat of Zaragoza, this was delivered in spades, lovely cool and shady pitches
*The owner and his staff/ friends were all lovely and our lack of French didn’t get in the way of communication
*Pool is fresh and clean and it’s a really tranquil spot to relax
*The estate is beautiful, we enjoyed a walk to the lake which sadly isn’t swimmable but it would have been a perfect spot for a dip and a drink at sunset
Disliked Unfortunately there were a couple of things that brought our rating down to a 9:-
*The main issue being the electrics, we had to move pitch after having set up as the polarity tester we’d been using showed ‘no earth’ which isn’t something we could fix; the electric hookups didnt seem to be in good order and would benefit of some maintenance
*Facilities were a little basic and inconsistent temperature/ pressure, not an issue for us just an observation, they did the trick and were better than other places we’ve visited this trip but

Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain
Power optional cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Restaurant and bar area was well situated next to the pool
Lovely pool, which was fresh and clean with good opening hours if you like a quiet morning swim
Attractive green grounds generally and well maintained
Good location
Friendly reception staff
Disliked Shower facilities inadequate and badly laid out as nowhere to leave your stuff (in fact they were the worst we’ve stayed at which was 10 sites across France and Spain in this trip)
Absolutely NO SHADE
Invest in the shower facilities and adding shade tarpaulins across the pitches, see what other sites are doing
