Bourg-et-Comin, Aisne, France
Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked Check in, good pitch size, site lay out, swimming pool, facilities, quiet site
Disliked No toilet paper (has to be a must in 2026). Right next to a road which only impacted some of the pitches and was only noisy on occasions during the day

Liked Facilities, quietness, size of pitch
Disliked Access to site - only a two hour window to check in (could be more flexible) and requirement to check in at an address in the village (seems unnecessary, as not easy to locate)

Liked Really great team at the front desk. Good pitch sizes, well laid out park, not too noisy. Nice lake and beach area.
Disliked Very dated toilets and bathrooms. No seats in unisex toilets and amazingly it still has squat toilets. Showers are very basic (no temp or direction control or separation from clothes)

Liked Looking at other reviews we were on the fence about this site, but from the moment we arrived it was just fantastic. Part of our positive viewpoint may have been due to the time of year we stayed as it was only about a fifth full at best. We can imagine that in the height of summer that there would be more pressure and impact on the sites facilities. The welcome was reassuring, a securely manned gate upon entry and each pitch with a lock on it. The toilets were pretty immaculate and whilst they were shared, we had no issue with any of our party. The bus from the site to the train station (Joinville le point) is part of the €12 day ticket into and across Paris. The site was quiet and the shop was well stocked and like any camp shop you’d find anywhere else. Overall a 10/10 site!! (Albeit out of season)
Disliked Nothing

Liked Arrived mid week of half term. Site was secure with electric gate. Warm welcome and explanation of site. Had a selection of pitches all were of a good size. Remote and quiet as we’d chosen.
Disliked Toilet and shower block are in need of modernisation (and not just the pink tiles). It’s an extremely old and dated building with mainly squatting style toilets (only one modern cubicle per gender). The block was used by male and female with no clear signage of who goes where. We were due to stay here two nights but only stayed for the one. Also very limited external local food choices from a location perspective.

Liked Arrived at the start of October half term. The welcome was good and easy. The pitch we had was a good size and had electric and water as booked. Toilet and shower block were a short walk and were modern and extremely clean and well maintained. The site had lots to do, but some inclement weather meant we couldn’t utilise, but lots to do for families. Great walks along the river too.
