Benllech, Anglesey, Wales
Powered gravel RV campsite
Liked The site is lovely and clean. The facilities are some of the nicest I’ve seen on sites. They have family events on like movie nights and also have food vans in season.
The play areas for children are fantastic.
Disliked I wanted to put my new living area/tent/awning up next to my van but they are very strict and will only accept and awning that attaches to the van so I was a little disappointed I didn’t get to try it.

Liked The location is stunning, right on the edge of the castle and the drive to the location through the walls is something special.
The facilities on site were lovely and clean.

From the manager: The drive on The Stray really is amazing; it is sometimes described as 'the greatest road in Yorkshire'. Once you have experienced it, you can understand why this location is often used in films and TV period dramas and of course the scenery changes dramatically with the seasons. Do come and visit again.

Liked The facilities were clean and tidy, the restaurant and bar on site were lovely, and the beach is a two minute walk away. There’s also a park next to the bar.
Disliked The tapas restaurant is a little overpriced but delicious.
