Penrith, Cumbria, England
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (maximum 8 metres)
Liked Great communication; we received updates and useful information prior to arrival.
The pitch; lovely level pitch with EHU, water supply and grey water drain. The pitch was on gravel so no matter what the weather we would be dry underfoot.
The facilities; lovely toilet/shower block with laundry- which we didn’t use. Even a state of the art dog wash bay - again, which we didn’t use. Very clear waste disposal areas - very convenient.
On site bar; great location with lake views, lovely staff to make your favourite tipple.
Shop; we didn’t use it but great to have on site.
Location; easy walking to the Ullswater Steamer Pier and to Pooley Bridge. Lots of local walks.
Disliked …..still thinking….

Liked The location is fabulous. On the site of a pub with good ales. Although no food on Mondays and Tuesdays (when we were there).
Right on the Reedham Chain Ferry.
Reasonable walk to Reedham with rail links.
Lovely clean toilet/shower block.

Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, England
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site with plenty of space between pitches. Nicely mown pitches and tracks. Pretty rural location. Short bike ride into Wells next to the Sea. Convenient tap to refill water. Good chemical toilet waste disposal unit. Lovely pub a 20 minute walk away. Free range bantams kept us amused.
Disliked Nothing really to dislike but maybe some local information would be nice, e.g. best route to the pub, nearest shop etc.
There are no toilet/shower facilities but we knew that before we arrived so not a problem.
