Hobbit house microlodge
Liked Everything! 2nd visit here and we'll go back. Could do with some solar lights for light and ambiance at night but otherwise absolutely fantastic little place to stay. Super friendly hosts, plenty of provided wood for fires too.
Disliked Nothing!

Jacaranda 2 bedroom mobile home (four person, pet friendly)
Liked The site itself has everything you need, although expensive which we expected on a Haven site but not far from other super markets etc. Lovely little private beach a short walk from the caravan too. Most things you need are there too, crockery etc. Just need your own bed linen and towels. Lovely and quiet too.
Disliked Not much but it's definitely a pet friendly caravan, it was clean but sofas have definitely seen a few paws. And the balcony windows were filthy but rest fine. Take your own chopping knife too or at least a sharpener, chopping carrots was lethal with a blunt knife lol. Single beds weren't very comfy either but I'm not used to having no space so might just be me.

Woodland camping pod
Liked Super friendly owners, lots of space, lovely huts with ample space for me, my son and dog, clean shower/loo blocks, solar/battery electricity in huts with tranquil lighting, comfy bed, overall very beautifully kept grounds.
Disliked Nothing really...no bedding for the futon but blankets and spare sheets so made do, was certainly warm enough anyway!

Shepherd's hut
Liked The location, scenery, friendliness of host, views, ease to find, dog friendly, basic necessities included, log burner was super warm in the windy evenings, shower and loo attached. Sun from dawn to dusk so perfect placement, lots to do and see within an hours drive.
Disliked Quite small and has a lean so feels like you're going to roll out of bed, maybe sunk into the ground a little over time. The bed is also no more than 5 ft 5/6 so if you're tall you'll struggle to lay properly.

The Beech Hut shepherd's hut
Liked Very qwaint little hut, cosy and warm, away from all the hustle and bustle but only half an hour away from the coast and other places so perfect for us. Had fresh milk and hot drinks available so it was a blessing when we finally arrived in the dark and wet. Bed was super comfy although positioned so you need to climb over the other person if you're on the inside, but other than that, great. Lovely shower but bathrooms very small, not a problem for us though, soap, towels etc all supplied. The location is opposite the farmhouse in the old forge, don't do what we did and follow the sat nav!! We had a rather traumatic experience down a farming lane in the dark and rain. Dog towel and blanket also provided which was so helpful, lots of space outside for the dog, gutted I didn't get a chance to use the outside bath or fire pit. Will definitely come back! Oh and had a lovely bottle of bubbly for our anniversary waiting too, such a lovely touch 😊
Disliked Apart from the position of the bed, everything else was absolutely great!! Could have done with a couple of games or books and/or a small TV above the bed for bad weather days/evenings but we went and bought some cards so kept busy on the evening anyway.
