FHU grass and gravel travel trailer campsite (XL, super)
Liked Lovely friendly clean site. Great showers with plenty of room. Level fully serviced pitch.Good location with the bus stopping right outside the site which is ideal for us in a motor home. So able to go visiting all the local seaside towns. Good information room.
There has been reviews saying that there is nothing for children, our children played with other children making their own fun and games which was lovely.
Disliked Nothing really. There is a small drain to empty motor home waste. A drive over drain would be easier.

Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Clean, level site. Quick friendly check in .Warm spacious toilet showrooms. Nice friendly clubhouse. Our granddaughter enjoyed the trim trail.
Short walk to Potterhanworth, which is a very pretty village with an excellent pub with lovely food. Don't walk in the woods when its rained it is very boggy, but where isnt this year! There is also a walk to Branston where there is Coop.
Disliked No emptying grey waste point for motorhhomes.
Lack of public transport. This is a personal preference we like to leave the motorhhome on site so in this respect the site felt more isolated than we expected. It is perfect if you havea car.

Liked Peaceful walled garden site. Wonderful night skies with no light pollution. We were there in January, so house not open but the cafe was amazing cakes. Lots still to see in the grounds. Be aware only two disabled bathrooms as facilities but warm and clean.
