Shotley Bridge, Northumberland, England
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Nice views over the hills, well organised site and a very helpful owner, he came out to greet us and he's very knowledgeable.
Good pitches and facilities. There is a separate pub nearby which is great for when the weather turns for the worst, but rather expensive and a bit of an unwelcome feeling in there unfortunately.
Drinking water, toilets and showers are great, and also includes a washing up area.
Well lit on a night and an overall pleasant experience at Bolbec Manor campsite!

Durham, Co. Durham, England
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Friendly Host, easy access to our pitch and perfect location in the orchard.
Very peaceful site surrounded by nature and nice communal area with decent toilet and shower facilities.
Orchard area has tap water and a compost toilet nearby
Disliked The road in to the site is very bumpy but just drive slowly and it will be fine.
Compost toilet isn't great but saves a walk to the facilities.

Delta Langdale 2 bedroom mobile home
Liked Remote Location. Caravan was clean and well maintained. Nice walking in the next village
Disliked Caravan was a bit small and the views outside the windows were not great. Shop wasn't available and the site seems a bit dated.

Whitby, North Yorkshire, England
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Easy Check in and good directions from Host
Disliked Unfortunately the weather turned for the worst after arrival and the fog and rain came in. Due to its clifftop location, Visibility became impossible and the tents inevitably leaked through. Had to pack up and drive away.

Pickering, North Yorkshire, England
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Its a quite location near a small stream. Its a small country road with not much traffic which makes the site peaceful, During This years visit, we noticed new toilets, showers and water facilities.... also improved bin area.
Its good value for money and just a 5 minute walk in to Pickering, Staff are very helpful upon arrival.
Disliked It is only a small field so it can get cramped during busy periods, also.... beware of noisy neighbours!
