  • Family- and dog-friendly site on the Adriatic coast
  • Seafront site over the road from two dog-friendly beaches
  • Several seafront restaurants within a few minutes' walk
Beach times ahoy! You won’t want to forget your swimming cossie when packing for your hols at Pet Family Camping Cortina, a family- and dog-friendly site 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Senigallia port town, in the Ancona region of Marche. On the Adriatic coast about five kilometres from Senigallia, this is a fab spot for a beachy getaway – especially if you've got a sea-loving dog in your party. You'll be right on the seafront here and need only cross the road to hit either Scooby.Doo Beach or Bayha Blanca, both of which allow dogs (there's also a doggy ice cream bar at Scooby.Doo Beach). Human guests are well catered for on the beaches too, with sun loungers where you can recline in style with or without a doggy companion. For meals, stock up at local shops then get grilling on the barbecue, or grab a table at one of the several seafront restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk.

Local attractions

When you’re ready to step away from the beach for some exploration, start in Senigallia, where you can wander the streets, visit the 15th-century Rocca Roveresca fortress, see the Roman remains beneath La Fenice theatre, relive bygone times at Palazzeto Baviera and, most importantly, try some award-winning chocolate ice cream at Gelateria Brunelli. Time your visit well and you’ll be around for Senigallia’s Summer Jamboree, a festival celebrating the music and culture of 1940s and ‘50s USA – bring your dancing shoes, as you’ll definitely want to join in. If the kids are tiring of the olden days, you can bring them screeching back into the modern world with a stop at Mini Gran Prix for a spin around the track. Leaving Senigallia behind, trips to Fano and Corinaldo (both half an hour’s drive away) come highly recommended – the former for its cathedral and churches, Roman walls and the Malatesto Court, and the latter for its stunningly scenic streets and houses, and journey to get there along roads (depending on when you’re visiting) lined with sunflowers. Stray from the urban with nature-filled trips to Monte San Bartolo, Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi and Conero Regional Natural Parks, all within 45 minutes of Pet Family Camping Cortina.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite

Liked: Personal ist nett
Strandnah

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite

Liked: Trees at pitches
Sea by the camp
And also dog beach

Disliked: Highspeed trainline is right next to the camping, so there is a very big noise from it. We couldnt sleep. So i recomend to take mobilehouse instead of rv or tent.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite

Disliked: Express trains throughout the night. Staff not very amenable, didn’t advise on location of facilities. Most expensive site of our trip!

Our pitches are spacious with a nice turf, and the campsite is situated right in front of the beach. We are the closest campsite to the port of Ancona, very convenient for reaching it to take the ferries to Greece and Croatia. The staff has been so helpful that they even accepted an unexpected method of payment for the facility.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Proximity to beach- literally across the road.

Disliked: Proximity (4m-5m) to bone shaking, hair raising, nerve jangling high speed railway line.

On the other hand, if you're a train spotter with an eye shutter speed of approximately 1/1000 of a second and you hate peace and quiet, you've hit the jack pot!
