What customers say
Spectacular mountain and river vistas, chilled vibe, and welcoming staff. Spacious spots, handy for sights and trails. Showers/toilets are modern and tidy, though some found limited hot water for dishes. Campfires allowed! Some generator/traffic noise noted, but most are keen to return.

Wonderful campsite
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Fantastic back to basics campsite. Very welcoming staff at reception, made us feel very welcome. Huge tent pitches, we were able to pitch bell tent with car next to it. Although there is a main toilet block, they are at the top of the field. They have portaloos dotted at regular intervals which were cleaned regularly. Beautiful views and quiet site

TLC needed with a few cleanliness and fire safety tweaks would help.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Scenery. Seeing family groups and friends enjoying themselves. Noise reduced about 11. 👍 Toulets and washbasins were fine.
Disliked Showers in need of a good clean - lots of old grass and mucky edges. Had to scrub the floor before I could shower.
Couldn’t find anywhere to empty grey waste. Had to empty into the grass by my pitch. Caravans/tents too close together - fire regs not adhered to. Elsan point left a lot to be desired - opened the lid to be looking straight down to the bottom of a pit. VERY basic.

Liked The location is amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature. I would definitely recommend it! 🌿🏕️
Disliked The toilets and showers are not always clean, but I think that also depends on the campers themselves. If you use the shower and leave rubbish behind, that’s not really the campsite’s fault. People simply need to be more considerate and keep the facilities clean after themselves.

This is a really lovely camp…
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked This is a really lovely camp site. We camped with no electric and pitching where we liked was perfect for us as it was much quieter than the electric area. The toilets & shower block were clean and the water really warm. There is a petrol station just a few minutes away that has lots of food/drink items reasonably priced and a counter serving hot breakfast items.

Great location for hiking. A large camp site, with clean facilities.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Large site so generally lots of space
Great setting with mountains nearby
Clean shower and WC facilities
Dogs are allowed
Prices are reasonable
Disliked People were arriving at the site well after the stipulated 9pm arrival time limit. It’s annoying that people were arriving next to us at 11.30pm, shining car lights onto our tent, setting up and then playing music until 2am.
The WCs ran out of loo roll and soap.
There only one sink for washing up , which is not enough for a site of this size.
People riding electric quad bikes around the site
