An amazing stay with a very welcoming host.
Primitive grass tent campsite (large)
Liked This is lovely welcoming camp site. Yvonne who hosted was over to check everything was ok, ensure we knew where everything was and show us how to get the most out of our stay. The picnic tables were high quality and the fire pits perfectly sized. It really did feel like sustainable camping, with mown large pitches but in a very large natural grassland field, the site is bounded by a river and woodland full of birds and squirrels. Ideal spot. We did note it can be windy on the site, but just worth thinking about when deciding what to bring.

Liked Really lovely and peaceful campsite with beautiful surroundings. We love wildlife and birdwatching so it made our trip to see the woodpeckers, dippers on the stream and bats at dusk. The owners were very friendly and welcoming which made for a very enjoyable stay.
