Several sports and leisure centres with swimming pools are in in the area too, along with a riding centre and pony trekking, 4x4 drives and kayaking along the Wye. Thank you for your booking and review very much appreciated. We do provide a hand towel again now in both ladies and gents that’s changed on a daily basis unfortunately we here at spring rock are dead keen on doing everything we possibly can to help the environment. Blow air hand drier’s are not very economical to run and would take up a lot of our spare solar power on good days and paper towels, I don’t like the thought of trees being cut to make paper towels just to dry hands and throw in the bin to go to land fill. |

Thanks guys! Sorry you felt a bit disappointed unfortunately as much as we’d love to we can’t guarantee the fish will jump on your hook. Those that tend to do well on the lake do spend the day fishing rather than just an hour or two. We actively tell all our guests to regularly venture round all of our site as we’re very proud of the work we put into our grounds and you’ll hopefully get to see all kinds of wildlife and flowers. We’d certainly never discourage anyone from walk on the grass unless it’s where there’s slabbed pave ways to the facilities etc. We do always ask our guests if they wonder round the grounds especially when wet or freshly mowed if they’d be kind enough to remove their grassy or muddy footwear prior to going into the facilities to help us keep them in top clean condition for you all plus also it helps prevent the shower traps clogging with lots of grass. Most are very obliging and happy to do so which is why we always get such positive reviews of our facilities as so many like to help keep them clean. Very sorry if you felt you couldn’t access the grounds at all!
