Liked Lovely remote setting for campsite, well away from the road. Great layout with ample spacing between pitches, clean toilets and showers, friendly team of staff. Liked that it was child free and very dog friendly. Monty’s bar great for evening drinks, closes quite early- 8pm when we were there, even though it was very busy. Different food vendors in the evening; pizza van, fish & chips, Greek, Thai etc. WiFi good. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Disliked Showers quite small, not much room for clothing / dressing. Early closing for the bar.

Did you see the block outside the reception? These are really large individual shower rooms with all of the facilities and may have suited you better. Regards Monty's Bar closing time, 8.00pm is considered the right time to close to keep within our ethos of being a tranquil park so that our guests can still have a quiet and peaceful evening.
We do hope that these issues did not spoil your stay and we hope to see you again soon.

Liked Tent astroturf pitch works brilliantly. Good showers. Well stocked shop. Great bar and fab food options. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good wifi. Location is great for Moors Valley, Avon Heath and Ringwood.

Liked Great site, large pitches, fantastic loos and showers, Monty’s bar and food vans made it even more enjoyable. Our Spaniel loved the woods and dog wash.

Sorry to hear you had some problems with the MetPow app. We do recommend that this is downloaded before you arrive and this normally results in a smooth connection. I'm glad to hear that our staff in Reception were able to help get you connected though and we hope that this did not cause too much disruption to your stay. Liked Quiet, friendly site, toilets and shower areas very clean.

Disliked Would have liked bar to be open till 9pm, and more food available, breakfast available every morning would have been great.

Not sure if you were aware that, when the breakfast van isn’t with us, we bake fresh pastries in the morning for our guests to enjoy.

Liked Woodland walks for the dogs, large woodland area for dog walking . Only 10 min drive from a national park. Staff very friendly. Toilet blocks kept very clean. Variety of food vans in the evening . Highly recommend Fish and Chips on Wednesday evenings. Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.

Disliked Having to park your caravan to the left on each pitch.Meaning cars are parked in front of your caravan not down the side. Making it a bit congested.

Regarding the pitching on the left, this is to comply with fire regulations and there is plenty of space next to your van to park your car on the grass, you do not have to park it across the front. If you do visit us again, pop into reception and our staff will be happy to explain it to you.

Liked Gorgeous and extremely well run site. Super friendly staff. Spacious and well maintained bathrooms. Woodland walks on your doorstep. Monty's Bar open 4-8pm always has a lovely buzz. Different takeaway vans every night. Great mobile signal and wifi. 30 mins drive to loads of interesting places in the New Forest and Dorset. We also walked from the site up to Avon Heath County Park (took 45 mins) and Hurn Forest.

Liked Fantastic staff from start to finish, Lovely people and lots of dogs which our puppy spaniel loved. We loved the quite space on a beautiful pitch. we arrived and didn't leave until the last day. I could have stayed for longer. Great shop, Lovely coffee machine, great bar and lovely atmosphere for happy hour. Great idea with the food vans each evening which took the stress out of thinking about food. We loved our long dog walk in the woods every day. Just can not fault this campsite and can't wait to go back.
