What customers say
Well-regarded woodland site with "wild camping" vibe, essential facilities. Praised for spacious pitches, great kids' play area, campfires allowed. Friendly staff. Clean facilities (compost toilets, hot showers). Wish for more handwashing stations, occasional drainage issues after heavy rain.

Highly recommend
Primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked The wooden play area for the children is just nothing short of amazing. Staff were really friendly and great with the kids. The drinks prices were reasonable too. Really recommend especially if you have high energy children like ours. Will definitely return.
Disliked Only thing I can suggest is maybe the staff could do with inspecting the camp site a little more. Cars were being taken to tents even though rules state this isn’t allowed. And the some dogs were allowed to run wild (owners fault).

Ideal woodland site for letting the kids enjoy themselves.
Primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked I loved being able to choose my own pitch and being that it wasn't busy I had the whole site to choose from. I was a lone camper with my dog and felt safe enough. The facilities where clean enough bearing in mind it's based on wild camping.
Although I didn't see them, there was activities for the children over the weekend and from what I could hear the kids were having a great time.
Aside from the children having fun, it's a very quiet site. There's plenty of places to walk the dog without really leaving the area.
There's lovely beaches, with an area sectioned off for dogs to have off-lead fun, about 15 minutes car ride away.
All in all I had a lovely long weekend.
Disliked Wasn't too keen on the toilets, but they were clean. But everything else was great.
