What customers say
This scenic, well-kept site has great facilities, friendly staff, and is walkable to the beach and town. Most enjoyed the entertainment and amenities, though some found the terrain steep and experienced noise or pitch size issues. Pools were popular, but one indoor pool was noted as cold and another overcrowded. Manager replies suggest pitch allocation issues have been resolved.

FHU grass campsite
Liked This campsite was amazing, literally had everything and was very clean and tidy! I can imagine in peak it would be incredibly busy but staying out of peak was blissful! The views are incredible and I loved it so much that I’ve booked to come back next year!!!

Amazing find!
FHU cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Clear communications, check in was helpful showing us where our pitch and amenities were, pitch was much bigger than expected so easy to park, with electric and water in easy reach, amazing views, easy to walk to Woolacombe, immaculate site, hot showers and clean toilets, washing up rooms.
Disliked Washing up rooms water temperature was tepid at best, and no liquid soap in toilet block even after a day

Great views down the valley to…
FHU grass campsite
Liked Great views down the valley to the sea, with wonderful sunsets. Lovely clean toilet and shower blocks, with regular checks by the staff - and any problems quickly attended to.
Disliked The hot water in the dish-washing sinks seemed to be a bit erratic. Sometimes it was scalding hot and at other times only lukewarm.
The motorhome service point was a very small drain in the roadway, which required some precise manouvering to ensure my van's waste outlet was over it - trails of water across the road suggestedthat not everyone had managed to do that successfully.
