What customers say
This is a large, well-kept park with great amenities, like a pool, pub, chip shop, and store. Guests rave about clean washrooms, roomy spots, and friendly staff. It's very family-oriented with lots for kids, and its location is perfect for exploring North Devon. However, some found it too big or noisy at peak times, had issues with card-only payments, and noted occasional problems with facility availability or upkeep.

Overall a lovely holiday at a nice site with lots of positives!

Liked The site was lovely - crazy golf and pitch and put was good value.
Entertainment was ok and the food in the bar / chip shop were both nice.
Staff were friendly
Pool was nice size - just needs a good clean!
The grounds are kept beautifully.
Disliked Overall no major dislikes - just minor issues - as other reviewers have said - chip shop out of fish by 6pm - bar says serves food till 8 but actually stops at 7:45 ish. And is expensive. We arrived on the first night a few minutes before 8 and were told the chef had a couple of other meals to prepare already so wasn’t taking anymore orders - we then had to drive around trying to find food which wasn’t ideal after a long journey and setting the tent up in 30 degrees! (Which in fairness is probably why the chef wanted to go early)
We had to ask for the facilities to be cleaned after two days of not being done.
They were then cleaned every day!
Even when you pay for WiFi it still doesn’t work in some areas!
A large site that when fully staffed I am sure is amazing!

I would definitely go to this site again.

Liked A fantastic holiday park. Pub and club and also a swimming pool. Great utility room with washers and dryers. Also sinks to wash up and also a free iron and board.
Disliked The field we were on was on a slope and had problems getting the van off the tow bar. Best using your motor mover to put the van on a pitch. Showers are at a set temperature and can't regulate. 33 degrees and showers were to hot to use.

Ok but could do with some tweaks/updating on

Liked Showers where great nice hot and plenty of room. Overall very clean facility.
Nice and quiet when we stayed not sure what it's like in school holidays.
Disliked No bus service or shuttle bus available so unless you have a car your stuck .
Next the payments are all card only so if you have children they cannot buy treats.
Activitys only seem to be available on Saturday and Sunday. Would stay again if we had transport.

Camping pod
Liked Pod was very clean and facilities around the campsite were absolutely perfect with plenty to do! Fish and chips were lovely and the shop had everything you needed for your stay
Disliked With the rest of the campsite being very modern and appealing, the only downside was the toilet block which i feel like could of been much nicer, Not sure how often they are cleaned but a lot of them were not pleasant and missing toilet roll for more than at least 15 hours
