Liked The access to the shower block from my pitch

Disliked There were no seats for us to sit in the evening, we tried outside for the bingo and inside for the shows, all that extra money it cost for entertainment we may as well pitched up in a cheaper site, we ended up just sitting at our tents

Liked We had a really lovely weekend! The staff were lovely and welcoming, the facilities were great, and the location was perfect. There was excellent entertainment for the kids, which they really enjoyed. We had such a fantastic time and will definitely be booking to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Disliked The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our caravan, and as we’re with Sky Mobile, we had very little phone signal, so we were pretty much without internet apart from being able to make calls. However, we were on holiday, so it certainly didn’t spoil our stay!

We had such a fantastic time and will definitely be booking to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Liked What a site!!

Great location for nearly all Cornwall sites, really close to Newquay and the beaches, this is the big selling point of the site.

The pool is actually nice, and little cold and no slides, but for young children, it's brilliant.

Disliked The people here are bloody awful, the noise is terrible, screaming kids, barking dogs and general council estate scum.
The pizza place is the most badly organised take away I've ever seen, how you burn pre-prepared pizza, I have no idea, and then charge the obscene prices.
The shop is 200% the cost of a normal shop, so easy to just pop into Sainsbury or Lidl in Newquay.

Liked The site has everything you need. Everything was clean and all the activities for the kids.

Disliked Very expensive week. The trampolines of a night are £7 a go, and the arcade costs you a fortune. The shops is over priced, but you have got supermarkets about 15 minutes drive away.

Liked The arcade and evening entertainment was decent enough.

Disliked The food was overpriced and barely edible. The drinks were overpriced £15 for two drinks. Throughout the day there was nothing to do. No inside pool like it was advertised only an outside pool that was slightly heated. A park area that was half broken the whole time we were there. Just wasn't enjoyable at all. The bathrooms were freezing, so if managed to have a hot shower you were then shivering while getting dry and dressed. We were told we couldn't even use our bbqs or gas stoves so we had to eat at the restaurant.

Local attractions

Cornwall’s coastline and beaches are pretty much legendary, but Newquay (10 minutes) is world-famed for its surf and nightlife too. It’s a party town from daybreak until well after dark and the surf's so good they hold international competitions here – check out Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Perranporth (10 minutes) is the place to head for a more relaxed beach day, though it’s very popular so best to get your towel down early. The beach here is a fab spot for dog walking, rolling up the trousers for a paddle or lazing around and copping a look at the views. The Eden Project (35 minutes) has the UK’s most realistic rainforest, full of rare plant species and exotic butterflies, as well as a pretty nifty Mediterranean biome. Daredevils can also have a go on England’s longest zipwires here.
