So good we stayed an extra night

Liked Everything ! Location as a base - long sandy beaches. Staff! Ibiza chilled tuned watching sunset. Swimming pool, surf school, not too commercial, really lovely families, food was decent for pub food, toilets on camp a bit older than other ones but kept clean by families and thr cleaner was good! Lidl and marks food hall nearby
Disliked Nothing just waiting on next years dates coming out

Liked Grandios, gefühlt mitten in den Dünen.
Disliked Die Sanitären Anlagen, insbesondere die Duschen, waren schmutzig. Und ohne Ablagefläche, nur ein Haken in der Kabine.

wouldn’t re visit - poor quality and overpriced
Powered grass campsite
Liked Beach bar nice -lovely views overlooking the bay, friendly staff and nice food - quick service
Local taxi drivers helpful and friendly
Disliked Overpriced for the service and quality in our opinion.
For £100 per night, we had no allocated pitch meaning our 4 vehicles which we had pre booked together could not all be sited next to each other. In addition, if we wanted to go anywhere in our motorhome or camper during the day, this left our pitch free for someone else to then take.
Staff didn’t seem helpful on arrival just said first come first served !
Toilets very basic and lacked cleanliness - we would have welcomed something to be able to wash the shower floors before use as these were dirty.
Some clientele questionable, families nearby shouting, arguing and swearing loudly at each other , glad we were only on this site for 3 nights

Liked Lovely spacious pitches, decent toilets/showers/washing up facilities.
Gorgeous location with the beach and so close to shops, and Hayle and Camborne.
Kids enjoyed the entertainment, and the pool (be prepared to have to wait when it’s busy though! They’ll give you bands for the next session if it’s full)
Nice atmosphere on the site, and all quiet by about 10pm, so great with the kids
Disliked The tent site has gravel paths throughout, which did spread over the pitches too, so make sure you clear this before you pitch your tent.
The bathroom blocks could have done with more frequent cleaning. Also, the showers were very very hot and couldn’t be adjusted. This wasn’t ideal when showering our young children. Had to fill cups of water and let them cool to rinse their hair etc.
We visited the Sands bistro for lunch one day and found the service really slow. 45 min wait for mains, and had to go and find someone to ask for the kids desserts to come out, and it was then another 20 mins or so. It wasn’t particularly busy at this time, and we had very hangry kids after swimming, so wasn’t ideal!
Also used the laundrette once, and accidentally put my token into a machine which was out of service, but wasn’t labelled as such. Reception did replace the token when I asked, but this was a small inconvenience.
