What customers say
This well-kept, clean, peaceful site boasts spacious pitches & spotless facilities. Friendly owners, animals, a good kids' play area, and fishing are highlights. Minor issues like occasional full bins or a need for more dish sinks at busy times were noted, but most guests want to return.

Poor facilities, safety concerns and ignored complaints.
Large Electric Grass Pitch powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The children really enjoyed the play park, which was a nice part of our stay.
Disliked Very disappointed with our stay and, unfortunately, I wouldn’t return.
On the second day, another campervan parked in the middle of our pitch. They first connected to the wrong electric hook-up before later moving even closer and plugging into ours. Their electric cable was stretched across our pitch and raised off the ground. During the night, my husband got up in complete darkness and tripped over it. Thankfully he wasn’t seriously injured, but this could easily have ended much worse. It was extremely concerning that another guest was allowed to encroach onto our pitch and create such a serious safety hazard.
The shower facilities were also extremely poor throughout our stay. The showers were either freezing cold or only produced a weak drizzle of water, making it impossible to have a proper shower.
To make matters worse, every time we went to reception to report the issues, it was unattended, so there was nobody available to help or deal with our concerns.
I’ve since emailed the campsite twice to raise these issues, but it’s now been over a week and I haven’t received any response at all. The complete lack of communication has been just as disappointing as the experience itself.
Overall, this was a very poor experience with significant safety concerns, poor facilities and non-existent customer service. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Lovely site, well worth a visit
Ainsworth Park powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (adults only)
Liked Lovely, peaceful site even though there were plenty of people and children around.
The layout of the site is beautiful and we had a fabulous view of the sunset over the fishing lake from our pitch.
Toilets and showers were plentiful, spacious and clean.
An eccentric little thatched bar and cafe complex with lovely food and an amazing garden centre (unfortunately no dogs allowed)/entertainment complex nearby; 10 pin bowling, crazy golf, cinema.
Disliked Although the bins were tucked out of the way, and emptied while we were there, they were overflowing for a while with rubbish scattered around them.

Nice views ~ wouldn’t stay again
Ainsworth Park powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (adults only)
Liked Shower block was ok. Nice views.
Disliked We booked a last minute stay as we were in the area. We booked a hard standing pitch on the adults only part. The pitch was overgrown with lots of rubbish in the bushes at the back. We were troubled with feral children all evening (on the adults only part) running and playing at the back of our van. Digging with their hands down rabbit holes. (I like children but wanted a quiet night) they were all out until late. I didn’t say anything as I don’t like trouble and dad of children was angry with life without me saying anything. The electric tripped in the evening and no electric until the morning. The site people said they had sent a message (they hadn’t) to say a bird had flown into overhead cables?? Not sure if I’m honest. The man next to us (father of feral children) had multiple adapters plugged into the electric, that’s probably what blew everything. He also had water running from the tap constantly to his van. Really not sure that should happen either. So much waste. Apart from that all good.
