What customers say
Campground praised for friendly staff, clean facilities, and great play area. Well-kept fields, ample space, and level pitches. On-site shop & pub are handy and well-priced. Lively atmosphere, though some noted noise from other campers & wished for quieter hours. Toilets/showers can be a walk away; sometimes not as clean or hot as desired.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Shaw hall is a lonely place to camp its clean, looked after and people are friendly and approachable.
Disliked The only down side is that the pub didn’t serve food even though it stated on the sign with days and times when food was served from and till. The kids were expecting to eat at the pub as they had come straight from school. There was no explanation, no prior warning even when a group of our party was checking in and discussing food with there kids nothing was said.
