What customers say
A straightforward, roomy site with great views. Perfect for a simple getaway. Some love the peace and space, others find the facilities basic (cold showers!). Well-kept with friendly staff, but can get noisy when busy.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked exactly what you’d expect it to be. Owners where really friendly and on hand if you need anything, toilets where clean pitch was well kept and tidy. Will definitely come back!
Came to do some paddle boarding ect and it’s not far to drive to.
Disliked Showers had cold water

Not a bad experience just no facilities.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely field well looked after. Beautiful views. Quite and clean.
Disliked The toilets and shower are not very clean and not well looked after. They are in a portable cabin and it is very unstable. No lights and not very usable. If you stay here it’s probably only for adults and definitely not children. You need to be very self sufficient and understand that’s it’s just a filed with a water tap. The facilities are not good and would not recommend unless you have a toilet and shower yourself.

Noisy party campsite
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location was great - beautiful views and nice big field to enjoy them from. Check-in was easy.
Disliked Noisy! It was a party campsite from early evening to the middle of the night, people playing music at full blast and talking at full volume, throwing their rubbish everywhere like total slobs. Toilets were too few and leaking, regularly gross due to the number of people using only 3 loos. Shower cubicle didn't lock for me and the shower is cold. Drinking water taps right next to where people were camping and the sink for washing up was tiny, I didn't bother with it. No recycling. Also expensive considering all of these negatives, and in comparison with a much nicer campsite in Moffat I'd just come from that was only £10 per night.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Large quiet site, lots of places to pitch your tent, clean and nice staff
Disliked It wasn’t disclosed that there is no running hot water so couldn’t have a shower, had to wait more than 20 minutes to go to the toilet as work was going on and there is only two toilets and no lights on the site for night time.
