What customers say
A no-frills campsite with great, clean portaloos. Tim, the owner, is super friendly & helpful. Lovely spot near Coniston Water & pubs. Spacious field, fire pits provided. Some weekend noise, no showers, but great value & peaceful. Highly recommended!

Great value and well maintained.
Primitive grass and earth RV campsite
Liked Great value with views and excellent location for exploring the lakes.
Open field to setup where ever you want. Free fire pit and toilets were portable toilets that worried us but the owner visited every couple of hours to keep immaculate. Any road noise subsided early on to make it nice and peaceful.
A great site.

Perfect back to basics site. Ideal for D of E.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Immaculately clean toilets & washing up area. Clearly labelled drinking water. Easy to pitch tents (not rock underneath a thin layer of grass like some Lake District sites). Excellent and helpful communication from the owners.
We loved it but this is a basic site - clean toilets, sink for washing up drinking water & that's it. Perfect for what we needed!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked really good location , toilets and sink was really clean. Really nice service from owner.
Disliked The only thing I would tell people which isn't to do with the campsite but the location is that there is very little transport available and there aren't really any shops near by so make sure to book at the pub or bring plenty of food to eat.
