What customers say
Pods are praised for being super clean, comfy, and well-equipped, often exceeding expectations. Guests love the quiet, great views, and welcome gifts. Peaceful setting and lots of space for kids are big pluses. A few would like more storage and blackout curtains. One guest noted damp and poor communication, but recent reviews are overwhelmingly positive, cozy, and show many plan to return.

Great get away spot. Highly recommend
Oyster Catcher camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked Great location and very tidy camping pod. Cannot fault the location. Quiet and secluded but within 20mins of local towns, villages, Carlisle and Hadrians Wall.
Disliked Only very slight drawback was it seemed to get extremely warm throughout the night. Simple fix opening the window and door if the wind isn’t blowing.

Liked Lovely pod, exactly as described, we had a slight problem and Terry sorted it to the best of his ability straight away. Everything was nice and clean. Underfloor heating was a godsend.

Cosy, homely, a lovely place to escape and refresh the mind!
Moorhen camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked We loved our stay. From the moment we entered the pod and saw the bottle of fizz welcoming us we knew our stay was going to be prefect.
The pod was actually bigger than I imagined, plenty of room for the 2 of us and our dog.
It was so clean, tidy, it felt like being at home... very comfortable and welcoming.
The underfloor heating was a very nice surprise, and considering the weather was very cold and icy, the pod was always warm. The bed is a good size, plenty of room and comfortable, maybe a little softer than our mattress at home but we both got a good night sleep.
Toilet/Shower room is a good size, although the sink is quite small, but the instant hot water was fantastic.
The setting of the pods is nice, the views are lovely and it's so quiet, just the sound of the birds and the stream across the field. We didn't use the firepit(bbq) but will do when we return.
If you're looking for a cosy escape in a lovely setting, then you can't go wrong.
We're definitely coming back.
Disliked In all honesty there wasn't really anything not to like. Maybe some kind of cooker would be a benefit, but it would impact on the space, so not

Disliked I was informed before I arrived that we were being moved to Heron pod but originally i booked Curlew. I was fine with this as had stayed in Heron the previous 2 times we had stayed there. I received a shock when I arrived as soon as we walked in the pod had a strong smell of damp. The floor was also covered in bits. Went into the bathroom and around the toilet and in the shower there was so much mold. The mold was even covering the toilet seat and bowl. I messaged owners straight away explaining pod was very dirty and response I received was someone will be around in the morning. We then had to travel to local tescos to buy cleaning materials so I could clean the toilet. Eventually sat down after cleaning the toilet and brushing up and the TV didn't work either. We had arrangements for the Saturday but I received no communication from anyone on the site. We decided not to stay another night as it was so dirty. I emailed the site explaining even though I had paid for 2 nights we were travelling home as shower and bathroom were unuseable. I am still awaiting any response at all. Terrible customer service considering I am a returning customer who has recommended to others.
