Liked Peaceful surroundings, close to castle Howard, clean showers and toilets, nice little shop, friendly welcome at reception
Disliked Electric points are a long way from some
pitches. No wifi, and poor signal for phones (but it did give us a chance for a digital detox!)
From the manager: Hello Sarah, thank you for your review which is appreciated. It's good to read that you enjoyed our facilities and the peaceful surroundings - uninterrupted by technical gadgets - (Oh for a digital detox :) - A blessing for many!) We understand that not everyone has a long lead with them so when a guest's own lead is too short we do provide an extension. Great to know that you would return to Lakeside. We hope you do.
