What customers say
This well-maintained campsite has spacious, level pitches with stunning views. Guests rave about the spotless, modern washrooms, often calling them the best ever. Friendly staff and handy on-site amenities like a shop and optional fire pits are big hits. It's a great base for exploring the countryside and hiking trails. Though it can get busy during peak season, it's highly recommended for its cleanliness, value, and welcoming vibe.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The pitch was great. It had its own drain and a bench that we could sit on and play games/eat. It was also only a short walk to the toilets/shower block and the shop. The staff are all absolutely lovely. Not got a simple complaint about them. The toilets and showers are also absolutely spotless. The shop has everything you could want and there’s an information room with a coffee machine which was a great addition! We’ve been here 3 times now and it’s never failed us.
Disliked Our pitch was under a huge tree so it blocked most of the sunlight on a really nice day. We were sat in the shade for most of it. The location is good, in that it’s a beautiful area with nice scenic walks but not so good that if you have a campervan that you don’t want to drive once it’s all set up, you’re pretty stuck there. The pub in the local village was shut for 2 days while we were there so we had to walk for 2 hours to get into Settle. Other than scenic walks there’s not a lot to do, which isn’t a major negative, just depends on what you like to do. For us this wasn’t too bad, we enjoyed the walk.

Liked We stayed in a pod which was a really good size & definitely great value for money. Although the site was busy, it was still really peaceful. The 360° views were simply stunning. There is a shop which is well stocked, we’d forgotten our foot pump but thankfully they had them in stock. Saturday is pizza night, which you can order in advance, they’re freshly made & super tasty. All the staff we encountered, were really welcoming & friendly, it’s obvious they have a good team who work well together. The loos & showers were kept immaculate … infact, the whole site was kept immaculate! You can loan a fire pit & purchase the wood to go with it. Walking to the loos of an evening & seeing families huddled around fire pits whilst roasting marshmallows, was so lovely, especially under clear, starry skies, it had quite a magical feel to it. The site is very dog friendly too, there is a well maintained dog field, where dogs can run off lead. There are many beautiful walks near by. We went into a little town named, Settle. It was like stepping back in time, with all the quaint stone cottages & quirky shops, there’s also & co op & plenty of eateries. I genuinely can’t fault a single thing at Orcaber farm & we really look forward to visiting again soon 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
