A lovely quiet campsite
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Beautiful well kept campsite in a stunning location. The staff were friendly and the site was well maintained. Large tent field where you can pick your own spot. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. Large freezer for ice blocks with plenty of Information about the area. There was a coffee machine and sockets for charging. The shop is well stocked.
Disliked At the time of our stay the two hairdryers in block 1 were not working. One cut off after about 30 seconds. The other didn't work at all. I did report it but they weren't fixed while we were there although that was only for 2 nights.

Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked WOW so many things to like the site was pristine and well looked after. The facilities are excellent. you can hire a fire pit and buy logs and Kipling and they even come round the site to ask. Dog area so they can run off the lead and then a short walk to the stream with picnic tables. Must admit we were in the stream every day (that's both hubby and I and the dogs). Little shop has all sorts in and the dogs loved their dog friendly ice cream.
Disliked nothing really but would have liked our pitch in the sun and not under a tree.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked We had a great stay at this campsite. The site is large and spacious, with excellent facilities that were always clean and well maintained. Everything around the site was tidy and clearly well looked after.
We stayed in our motorhome on the tent field and were impressed by how much room there was. The benches dotted around the field were a nice touch and made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The takeaway pizza on site was delicious and a fantastic addition that made our stay even more enjoyable. Another great feature was being able to borrow a fire pit, buy logs and kindling and have them delivered directly to your pitch, which made for a lovely evening outdoors.
Overall, a well-run, welcoming campsite with plenty of space, great facilities, and thoughtful extras. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.
