General

  • Small enclosed, sheltered orchard adjacent to the farm
  • Within walking distance of the local Inn
  • Private footpath to the river Swale

Hazel Brow Farm Campsite is in the Swaledale countryside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by green fields, grazing sheep and lots of great walks including a private footpath to the River Swale. The site is very small with only a handful of pitches, perfect to preserve the natural surroundings.

The site has the essential facilities for your stay in the countryside. There’s a toilet block, a mains water supply and brilliant views.

The site is between the villages of Gunnerside and Reeth, a 2.5-mile walk following the river in either direction or a short 10 minutes' walk from the local Inn.

The access lane is quite steep and narrow and although there is flat space when you reach the bottom, it is not suitable for large, class A motorhomes. Please keep this in mind when booking.

Please note

This site has no on-site shower facilities.

No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

The perfect location! Just by the river swale with beautiful walks. There isn't alot in low row so you really get spectacular views and peaceful surroundings. There is a noise from the sheep/llama/birds on a night but personally I think that makes camping better. Minimal facilities but we're all kept clean and we're enough for the size of the site. Cath was lovely too!

    Beautiful location.
Awesome waking up to the alpacas!

Very noisy people talking til 3am - not the fault of the campsite though!
