What customers say
This secluded site offers peaceful, private, treed pitches, many with water taps and fire pits. Guests rave about the nature, estuary/beach access, wildlife, and relaxed, "wild camping" vibe. Staff are friendly, facilities generally clean. Ground can be hard; composting toilets sometimes tricky. Great for a quiet getaway!

Great camping spot, all the pitches…
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland)
Liked Great camping spot, all the pitches are very private, there is a hot water shower, beach access 5 minutes walking from the campsite, there is a fire wood you can boy and even beach toys to borrow!
Disliked There is really nothing to dislike!

A lovely site
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland)
Liked I love this site. It has all I need and nothing more. The compost toilets and outside shower do their jobs. Each pitch has running water and a picnic bench. It’s in a lovely part of the world. I will be back. One day we’ll try the shepards hut.
Disliked The only reasons I didn’t give this a 10 were both outside Netherhall farms control. We couldn’t have a fire due to the weather being so dry over recent months.
And the family on the pitch next to us were noisy until @1.30am.

Liked Secluded quite camping spots
Easy walking distance to the beach which had beautiful clear water.
A great place to stop reset and recharge.
We left the car parked up and ventured on a beautiful 30k walk one day.

Gorgeous site, views over the Stour,…
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland)
Liked Gorgeous site, views over the Stour, private little nook among the trees and we could have been near a Canadian lake or somewhere in Austria for all we knew, rather than 10 miles from our house. 20 minute walk to the pub, gorgeous sunsets, deer, hares and gangs of sand martins zooming about. Private water tap per pitch is a game changer. We will be returning many many times.
Disliked Ground is very hard, layer of gravel just below the surface, bring a proper hammer and hardcore pegs. Horseflies that are very aggressive and very hungry, so load up on citronella candles, keep the fire lit and slightly smokey, cover yourself in every spray and lotion you can get your hands on! Or bring your own personal army of drangonflies.
