A peaceful spot within walking distance of multiple cosy country pubs? Marlbrook Farm is here to get things started… The family-run, adults-only site based on a working horse livery yard is in the Malvern Hills AONB with direct access to Castlemorton Common and a 10-minute drive from the Three Counties Showground. Don your hiking boots and head for the common or the hills – the site is just 35 minutes’ walk from Little Malvern and under 10 minutes’ drive from British Camp Hill Fort. Those of you who’d rather mount your bicycle and get pedalling can set your sights on historic Ledbury (15 minutes’ drive or 45 minutes’ cycle) and the peaceful riverside in Upton upon Severn (25 minutes’ drive or cycle) too. Hill walking and cycling aside, those wishing to tip back a few local ales and indulge in some country pub grub will be pleased to find four such establishments within walking distance. The closest is just 15 minutes’ walk away and the remainder are 25 minutes’ walk or 35 minutes’ walk away – so judge your favourite for yourselves. If barbecues with stunning views are high on your priorities too, good news. They're permitted on site, and there’s a village shop 10 minutes’ walk away to simplify sourcing ingredients. Facilities on this peaceful independent site include one shower and two toilets located a short walk away from the pitches (passing by the horse stables) and a chemical disposal point.

Liked Peaceful, friendly, surrounded by horses and countryside. Great size pitch, not a big field but perfect condition. Facilities are basic but exactly what we needed. Lovely hot shower and a working toilet. Great space for the dogs too.

Liked The location.
Beautiful views of the Malvern hills.
Nice and quiet.
It’s a working farm and livery yard which was lovely.
I stayed as I was going to the VW campervan festival at the three counties show ground.
Will definitely be going back to the site as it was very peaceful and relaxing.

Disliked Only one shower and two toilets but they were clean .
And tbh it’s not really that much of a problem.

Disliked Toilet and shower not good only one of each for men and women and nowhere to put your clothes when shower floor was wet and full of grass

Liked We liked everything about this site, the view of the Malvern hills, being right next to the common to walk our dog, seeing the horses in the fields close by, the lady that runs the site is lovely. We had the best time and didn't want to leave, peace and quiet, perfect.

Liked This is a peaceful site in a beautiful setting. Ideally placed for the Malvern and the historical towns of Worcestershire. The pitches are a generous size so you can be as sociable or not as you prefer. We were particularly delighted that it was a child free site and our dog was fascinated to encounter a cat travelling with their family! The owner operates a livery and the sound of the horses added to our delight with the site. We will definitely use it again

Liked Lovely location perfect for our beagle to have some lovely walks on the common which is right outside the gate. The south field which we stayed in was lovely and very well kept. Lovely friendly people. I emailed the owner to ask if we could stay an extra night and this was sorted promptly so thank you for that. Will definitely be returning.

Local attractions

From the site, walk straight out onto Castlemorton Common. From there, it'll take you around an hour to walk to the top of the Malvern Hills without even crossing a road. On the edge of Welland, the site is also within walking distance of the annual Welland Steam & Country Rally event. There are many more festivals in Upton upon Severn (25 minutes’ drive) For a peek into the past, try Little Malvern Priory (35 minutes' walk) or Eastnor Castle (10 minutes' drive). The latter has a deer park, arboretum and a grand castle with turrets overlooking the lake. Gawp at the state rooms in the castle or try and work your way out of the garden maze. If you’re looking to switch things up, you might want to roll down to the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 minutes) for yet more wanders or watersports on the River Wye.
