  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Lovely well kept site - we used the washing machine - £4 for a wash - and it was fab - there was dryer but we didn't use - weather was fine so hung outside 👍. Loved the river and dog walking area. My grandson had a great time in his kayak.

Disliked We booked two pitches together- motorhome and a tent - but had been split up when we arrived - so bit disappointed- not a massive site so not too much of a problem.

FHU gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Exceptionally clean facilities, friendly staff. Well kept pitches with hedges between rows to create privacy, easy waste water plumbing- just put the flexible hose under your waste pipes and the large collection spout will catch and drain your waste away. Close to River Teme - great for swimming and fishing, free wifi and tv free view boxes

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Size of pitch, presentation, welcome pack, riverside location.

Disliked Small thing ….the site said dogs on leads and no cycle riding. Bothe if theirs rules were disregarded by several people.

If you have rules they should be respected and policed.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Very clean. Fantastic showers. Immaculate grounds. Fabulous play area for toddlers and older kids which is rare. The river access was incredible and beautiful.

Disliked It's just a shame there is a rule to not allow kids to use scooters and bikes around the park. This is part of caravaning fun and encourages kids to meet and mingle. A suggestion would be to allow it between 9am-9pm in line with the play area opening. Children (and parents) really appreciate this freedom. And also the quiet of a campsite so a curfew seems a good half way point.

From the manager: Thank you we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you returning. We ask the children not to cycle or use scooters around the park for their safety we have high hedges and lots of corners and junctions, we allow the children to ride from their pitch slowly to the playground where they can use the Bike riding area we have created and meet up to play and make friends at the playground.
