What customers say
Offers peaceful, wild camping with great views. Friendly owners, lots of space. Bring your own water. Some issues with campervan pitches/water in June '24, but meadow reviews are good. Basic but functional facilities.

This is a very quiet campsite…
Primitive grass campsite (wild)
Liked This is a very quiet campsite up a small lane. There are fantastic views. The fact that it only has one compostable toilet and no water supply means few people camp here, which was what we were looking for. On one of the nights over the bank holiday weekend it was just us and the sounds of nature, no other campers.

Primitive grass campsite (wild)

Disliked Nothing but if we had to change one thing I think the kids would prefer a portaloo 🤭

Basic but lovely!!
Primitive grass campsite (wild)
Liked Everything! We arrived to an empty field, the surroundings were beautiful. The honesty box was super handy. The compostable loo was clean and there was plenty of soap and hand gel. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates and this was changed with no charge as soon as I realised. It was exactly what we wanted, a quiet campsite with the basics but lots available within driving distance. We had the most wonderful time.

Primitive grass campsite (wild)
Liked Tucked away off a quiet country lane, a very peaceful and relaxing campsite with acres of space and good views of the countryside.
Disliked Very very basic, with no lighting or running water (if that's what you're after)?!
