What customers say
This adults-only spot gets rave reviews for its tranquil vibe, spotless facilities, and super helpful owners. Guests love the scenic walks, fishing lake, and handy nearby pub. Pitches are spacious and tidy. While most had no issues, a few suggested updating showers/toilets and noted occasional noise or lock hiccups, which management says are being fixed. A top choice for a relaxing getaway.

Liked Lovely site. Gorgeous walks from the site and on the site with the lakes. Pub next door is an extra added bonus. Shower nice and hot and powerful which if want you want. Would definitely visit again.
Disliked Didn’t know there was WiFi as we wasn’t told which would have been useful. Think an earlier check in would be good so you at least get 24 hours.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the site, the walks, the lake, the hot showers, and the pub next door.
Just to clarify we do not advertise WiFi as a campsite facility, so it is not included in our guest information however it is on show in the reception.
Regarding your comment about check-in times, our check in is from 1:00pm and check out is by 11:00am. These times are clearly stated at the time of booking and allow us the necessary time to clean and maintain the campsite for all guests. Bearing in mind your booking was for one overnight stay, we feel this provided ample time to enjoy the site.
We would also point out that following your request to stay on site after the check out time we were happy for you to leave your van on your pitch after the 11:00am check out time so that you could enjoy a walk around the lake before departing, and this was accommodated without issue.
We’re pleased you enjoyed your stay overall.
