What customers say
A quiet, well-kept rural campsite with spacious sites & clean facilities. Hosts were friendly, close to attractions and walks. Some noted few toilets at peak times & flies in heat. Great for a relaxing countryside getaway.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked We stayed last night Saturday 18th July 2026. It’s a lovely scenic view. Very quiet which was perfect! Shops and pub only a short drive like 5-7 minute. Bathrooms are clean. You can also hire fire pits which we will do next time as we will definitely stay here again! Looks like a nice place to walk and there’s a lake round the corner. A lovely lady came to check on us in the morning too which was nice. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back!

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely little campsite, so glad I found this! The grass was immaculate and obviously well taken care of. The toilets and showers were super clean. As an added bonus there's a watersports centre up the road, i will definitely be returning as i was gutted I could only stay for 1 night!

Primitive grass campsite
Liked A lovely site very pieceful, clean and tidy. Showers and toilets were spotless. We sat listening to the birds, watching the sunset which is lovely. A short walk to Chambers Wood to roam at your hearts content. This site suits us to wind down without the stresses.
Disliked Didn’t see the owners felt impersonal. It is farming area.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked The bathrooms were clean and the views from the site are pure countryside! It was lovely and quiet with a few farm animals sounds.
Disliked Our only dislike was that one of the footpaths close to the campsite did not allow dogs and we always travel with ours. From what we could find there weren’t any other easy walks close by.
