What customers say
This new, adult-only campsite is lauded for its beautiful setting, spotless modern facilities, and welcoming staff. Well-kept, level pitches boast lovely views. While some guests mentioned occasional aircraft or racetrack sounds, most found it peaceful. Motorhome facilities are evolving. Close to local pubs and walking trails.

Liked lovely small (ish) site, a lovely new and clean toliet and shower block.
good wifi, and a lovely welcome from the owner, stayed in a camper van
Disliked no room to pass other people using the washing up facilities - too much of a tight squeeze behind where you stand, also not big enough draining area, my plates all slid off on to the floor- just a suggestion to make a bigger area once the site gets busier.

Liked Beautiful site in the countryside. Facilities are spotless. Welcomed by Dave on arrival who went to the trouble of getting me a slab ( as a motorcycle stand) and brought it to where I picked my spot.
WiFi was an unexpected bonus

We enjoyed our 4-day stay and would definitely return.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely rural setting with views across the field and up to the church.
Clean loos and showers in individual cubicles.
Secure site with locked gate.
Easy to get to from A56 and M1.
Plenty of local walks and very close to Cloud Trail cycle route.
Shop/newsagent in nearby village and choice of supermarkets in nearby Ashby.
Disliked Somewhat surprising shower/toilet facilities. Ladies have only access to one wash basin and that was in a lockable cubicle with loo and shower so not accessible at all if anyone else was using it. Men have two wash basins AND a hand drier in a men's only cubicle with urinals. No hand drier for women at all. Fortunately it wasn't too busy when we stayed so not so important and all facilities were kept clean during our stay.
