What customers say
This adult-only site has clean, modern amenities and spacious, level pitches. Guests love the friendly staff, peaceful vibe, and beautiful countryside location with great local walks. Mostly quiet, but occasional noise from nearby East Midlands Airport and Donington Park is mentioned. Great for short stays.

A nice chilled out site, well maintained and sensibly priced.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked I chose a grass pitch, no EHU. I was a little early arriving to site, but got a warm welcome and directed to the areas that had the most level pitches, then left to choose my spot. Some nice landscaping had been done on the site and some areas left for re-wilding. Toilets, showers and washing up area were lovely and clean. A good Elsan and separate green waste area. There was a dog washing area too and plenty of bin space. There's a nice little walk into the village. Sadly the main pub closes at 3pm on Sunday and doesn't reopen until Thursday so I didn't get chance to try that, but it has good reviews. I one stayed one night, but got a nice feel about this site.
In a few previous reviews, they have mentioned aircraft noise from East Midlands, but don't let this put you off - it's not noisy at all.

Liked Very tranquil, lovely views and nice walk to the pub! Excellent greeting and all information provided prior to arrival via WhatsApp.
Disliked Unisex loos but wasn't necessarily a big issue, locks on the doors could do with being replaced.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Adults only site. Quiet area with easy access to nearby town for groceries and a local shop within walking distance. Some shade from very mature trees around the edge of the field. Decent facilities with toilet paper and hand soap/sanitiser provided. Clean showers and well tended pitches.
No laid out pitches for non hook up so free to set up wherever you fancy. Nice to spread out a bit. Couple of picnic benches. A few more would be a great addition for those travelling light.
Locked gate at the entry to the site, code was provided on arrival. Really liked that.
Disliked The noise from the nearby airport late at night and early in the day. It wouldn't stop me visiting again though, I'd just take ear plugs for sleeping hours.

Liked Very clean and well kept site location ideal for Donnington Park Raceway, some aircraft noise from East Midlands but didn't bother us, Aeropark for plane spotting also close.
