Liked The friendly people on the food van
Disliked Everything else. We informed them we would arrive between 4 and 5, got there about ten to, no-one there so rang the 3 different numbers we had for them, no answer on any and still waiting for call back. Sat for around 20 mins then men on food van just said go round and pitch up, pay tomorrow. The pitches are not marked out well at all but found a spot on electric grass pitch as ordered. Trees and bushes around site had obviously been chopped back, not sure what they used but they were butchered and branches just left in trees, danger of falling, then piles of leaves just left around. Very unkempt site. I use a mobility scooter and the thick yellow stone/gravel made it impossible to move around. My husband had to walk behind me and push. On website it says toilets recently refurbished, must be old site. The toilets are a disgrace, the disabled toilet was filthy, toilet roll holder off the wall, no toilet roll to be be seen, my husband said the men's toilets stunk, each of the toilets were filthy covered in cobwebs and no toilet roll in any. Good job I have a porta potti in van for emergencies, had to use for rest of time there.. definitely a site to be avoided, it's a shame because earlier reviews were good. Seems to have gone downhill lately.

Liked Convenient for motorway, vey quiet site.
Disliked Poor check in, basically ‘go down there and park anywhere.’
Toilet facilities in need of updating and a good clean.
Did not use the shower, used the caravan.
All bins were overflowing.

Nice site if you pitch right away from the static side of the park.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (no awning)
Liked Nice, helpful, relaxed managers of the site.Flat pitches and easy access to bus service right outside the site. Clean showers and toilets.
Disliked Noise and choice of extremely loud language coming from close by us from, what appeared to be, residential static vans. Most of which seemed to happen whilst they were digging a hole?
Quite pleased we hadn't booked more than a couple of nights.
