What customers say
This well-kept, roomy, and quiet campsite offers lovely country views, perfect for hikers with simple access to Thors Cave and pubs. Showers and washrooms are consistently lauded for their cleanliness and quality. Weekend food trucks are a nice perk. Despite some noting narrow roads and occasional busy facilities, folks love it and want to come back!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location, close to a beautiful part of the Peak District with extensive walking choices.
Large open area in the middle of the field. Clean toilets, showers and washing up area.
Great for families.
Disliked Very disappointed and annoyed that the site was still giving out fire pits despite a major incident being declared on nearby moorland which had been burning for five days!
Site was very busy, I would not use it again at weekends or during school holidays.
Pitches very close together.
Site a little too big for my taste.
