Liked Small quiet site with farm animals around. Peaceful stay and a super welcome from the owners. Great for cycling and walking but be aware the river is well below the campsite.
Disliked Nothing to dislike however tall Motorhomes need to be careful of overhead lights and have decent ramps for gently sloping ground.

Liked Nice welcome from staff. Large field surrounded by trees so a little shelter from wind. You will need ramps in a motorhome as pitches are slightly sloped. Near to lake but you need to walk or drive approximately 1mile along road to access lake walks.
Disliked Short hosepipe in black water discharge would help to keep the facility clean and assist with washing out cassette. Didn’t affect us but restaurant is closed so don’t rely on food on site.

From the manager: Dear Christopher R., Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated the warm welcome from our staff and enjoyed the large field surrounded by trees, providing some shelter from the wind. Liked Huge flat pitch, great communication with Ruth. Good access to beach. Didn’t use the pub but right next door and looked very nice with two outdoor gardens. Our second visit and we will be back. Oh! There’s a discount for the surf academy as well.
Disliked Nothing to dislike with the site but almost zero phone signal. Can get a signal a short walk away so not a real problem.

Liked Showers nice and hot as well as being clean. Friendly welcome from staff.
Disliked Chemical loo point appeared to be full so difficult to empty cassette and clean up properly. All surrounding pitches on small site were taken with long stay vans with large awnings so could be uncomfortable in summer and definitely difficult for larger Motorhomes to manoeuvre.

Liked Super showers, good access to walks and cycle routes but best of all Miguel was so helpful and welcoming. Good little shop for water, and a few party essentials at reception. Small local market on Wednesday’s, no tourist stuff just honest to goodness stalls.

Disliked No potable water on site so arrive with your tank full.

Liked Great facilities with super showers. Direct access to walks in the countryside, along the coast, beaches and Mojácar Player. Will be a bit of a walk too far for those with young children or less fit but less than a five minute drive to the beach. Super access for mountain biking too. Very helpful and nice hosts.
Disliked A little tight for larger vans but not impossible.

Power optional gravel and earth caravan site (plus)
Liked Good location for easy access to the beach and walks in the countryside. Super welcome and very good showers, toilets and drive over waste facilities. Larger vans should book a larger pitch as only these have a sitting out area. Sun shades over pitches would make A class vans difficult to get under. Our 3m high van had no problem. Good Wi-Fi and mobile signal.

Liked Pitch 7 is seventh heaven! Wonderful welcome from Ruth, super showers and easy chemical disposal facility. Natural maintenance of site with wild grass dividing pitches gave extra privacy and good wildlife habitat. A short walk through the village and dunes to the beach but certainly not an onerous walk. Pub next door (if needed) but little or no pub noise. Loved everything and hope to be back soon.

Liked Well kept small site
Disliked Overcrowded small site. Understandably full at this time however the pitch length was more suited to a camper. 6.9m motorhome overhang onto the access road. On second night (of 4) a camper with awning was positioned 1m away from our motorhome so we could hear conversations and snoring all night. Decided to leave early as privacy and fire safety were compromised.
