Liked Lovely 5 van site, loved the peace and quiet, great access to village amenities and two great pubs that did food. Very basic site with no showers/toilets, but this wasn’t an issue for we had our own facilities. Would highly recommend

Liked Lovely quiet week again, fast becoming one of our favourite sites, the dogs loved the well drained dog field. Lovely new shower block

Liked Nice flat well spaced hardstandings, quiet site well situated for Richmond, amazing Gurka Takeaway in Catterick was A+++ Overnight stop for trip to Northumberland, used on both outward/homeward journeys

Disliked High conifer hedges, no views. Noisy all stay, arrived Monday, to grass around site being cut, Tuesday, Weds, Thurs same grass being cut by a large grass cutter……. Constant noise on what was described as a quiet peaceful site, commercial noise from early am until tea time. Complained to site manager and offered two nights to go back and experience how quiet it can be…….. cannot get my hubby to experience more from this site, so we will never know how quiet it can be, broken hinge and bolt on Elsan point, so site seems a little run down. Out round the fishing lakes a lovely walk, everything looks perfect, so probably more focused on fishing lakes than caravan site

Liked Loved all the wildlife on this quiet wooded site, very helpful reception, very secure site with a barrier and fob system

Disliked There are many seasonal pitches, tourer hard standing (apart from 2) are in a long row of seasonal caravans which are quite close. Thee one we were allocated was on a very small busy corner, asked at reception and she was able to change it for a very quiet one, reception went above and beyond and made our holiday very enjoyable

Liked The tranquillity and the wildlife, and although it is an out of the way site it feels secure, great shower facilities

Disliked Weather was not brilliant, storm Gareth passed by, but obviously this was not under the control of the site 😂
