Liked Pleasant owner with cute Labrador dog, however this is not yet a viable camp site - especially at this time of year, sodden grass, mud e tc.

Fully-serviced forest floor site
Liked Toilet block - internal.
Disliked Started raining soon after arrival and the site became a mud bath. When packing up to leave my feet were covered in thick red clay mud which was impossible to remove and transferred to the inside of our new motorhome.
Even worse was when trying to find the chemical toilet disposal point which is not marked. An older gent with a white beard, who I believe was the owner, watched me walk round the toilet block twice with a heavy cassette in the rain. He clearly knew where the disposal point was but did not assist me. When I realised it was the bare unmarked plastic pipe sticking up out of the concrete I could empty our cassette. He continued to watch for a couple of minutes, lit a cigarette, then wandered off towards reception. Disgraceful.

Disliked Rumour has it that pitches will be mid £45 next year, the cost of a room at Premier Inn, maybe it's time to sell the motorhome and travel about in the car with cash in the Bank ?
