Liked A simple campsite in a pub garden. A lovely setting right on the riverbank of the river Trent. The pub has a great live music set up outside. The band were good fun. They had a chef off sick so we couldn’t get any food from the typical pub grub menu which was a real disappointment as there continued to be food served around us. It is what it is. £12 a night. Very basic facilities that all need updating, but for £12, you really can’t grumble. The band were ace!

Disliked No food served even though we ordered and paid. We were given a refund straightaway though.

Liked Lovely little campsite, dark spot so great for star gazing if there are no clouds. Cut grass, mainly flat and trees to camp under for protection from the drizzle. The free to use off the ground fire pits are a brilliant facility and you buy wood and fuel from the owner. Lovely chap, very friendly. Super value for money. The compost toilet was spotlessly clean and had loads Andrex toilet rolls!! The donkey is amusing to listen to at night time.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.
