Liked The welcoming, the hospitality, outstanding customer service, food was outstanding well worth it , the pub itself all I say don't judge a book by it's cover . Camp site is actually well away from the road and kept clean and tidy. Gated entrance, and at night very peaceful, The little shop well stocked,has a good little bit of fresh to frozen at superstore prices..The family always welcoming especially MUM Xxxx . We enjoyed every minute there of the two weeks we where there. Thanks Mike , Mum and all staff

Disliked We couldn't say anything about the place , but apart from people going there expecting it to be an award winning campsite , it is what it is a pub with an added campsite for great food and somewhere to stay for a few nights or more

Disliked Lack of toilet and showers for the size of place ,needs to have a shower, toilet block or even portable cabins on each field . Electric hook up a waste of money £11.50 a night ,could only use fridge and kettle. Wouldn't take my electric grill and bbq not even an air fryer kept tripping off. So had to cook with gas cooker in motorhome

Liked The campsite was immaculate . toilet blocks outstanding clean ,staff very friendly and helpful, facilities on site good,

Disliked The plot we had was to small .could only get caravan on awning up then just enough room for car.this space needs some attention to it. Probably could have asked for better plot but didn't want the hassle of taking everything down. Also ground not level. And too close to opposite caravan hard to maneuver van into position. Houses nearby had dogs which were barking morning noon and night.unfair on holiday people nearby the houses. Needs addressing

Disliked Washroom /shows/toilet/kitchen sink .all in one wet room .awkward when showering or anything else and someone else needs to use the facilities. The pub unfortunately was unavailable due to overrunning return as new owners took over in June

Liked On arrival was welcoming staff meeting you helpful .place is kept clean. Dog walks to near nature area .large pitches level hard standing . Toilet/showers/washroom were immaculate .very high security

Disliked No ammenaties in walking distance .pubs ,shops .The only pub was half hour walk but not dog friendly . Unfortunately due to circumstances they have had to take the forest down and was under new development.. Should be a good place when work is done a peaceful retreat

Liked We have always enjoyed going here as we have a dog we only use the facilities permitted . Staff always friendly and helpful. The Boathouse welcoming .Park itself kept well.

Disliked The toilet block the facilities are great after the cleaners have done them .but after they gone .well where do I start. Toilets left in right state after people used them ,need flushing before you use them .my dog has better toilet habits than some people .Drains blocked and sewerage coming out of Drains .And when your near the drainage or man hole covers the stench is unreal. The sinks with vomit or other waste unusable. The taps need repair no plugs in sink. Person smoking joint in disabled toilet leaving a horrible smell in them..lack of toilet rolls..The toilets need to be monitored more as it's not fair on other tourer's have to tolerate this

Liked The park is well kept well maintained .plenty of things to do. Shop is well stocked, park is set in beautiful settings . Hospitality welcoming and friendly

Disliked Dog walk area is on the small size they need a good run off area as larger dogs need to run of their energy. Access to beach is impossible .you have to go to Hornsea or Fraithorpe which is treck and the carpark there needs sorting they make plenty of money on parking charges to do something about it

Liked The camp site kept well clean and tidy pitches are equipped with electric and water supply .spaces are big enough for van and awning only on hard gravel but no where to park car.nice pub and a stocked shop .pool and wet play area and facilities good for kids

Disliked Only doing food in the pub on certain days is a bit of an inconvenience if you want an evening meal .Also it's inconvenient that you have to pay by card only .if you don't have any card to pay for meals and drinks you don't get served as they don't take cash..The pitches are to close to the opposite pitch and you can't turn van in them very easily. Plus with them been gravel pitches hard to push caravans on .you need pegs that go into hard gravel ground as we didn't had to put awning on sodden grass ended up with a completely mud covered awning and carpet ended up using loads of tarpaulin

Liked The campsite was set in a wonderful setting nice to walk around .staff brilliant very helpful and easy to talk to .The site well maintained and kept clean and is inspected on a regular basis.The cafe area is a nice touch although we never used it.Well stocked shop although it's for anglers,which unfortunately we are not.Campsite is a good central location to go and see around the area 20minutes away from cantabury,Margate and Broadstairs etc.

Disliked A couple of things no local pub with in walking distance and amenaties .The toilets very basic and shower block are porto cabins could do with an upgrade,but they are regularly cleaned.There are 2 shower cubicles which when campsite is busy there could be a wait

Liked Very welcoming and friendly go out of their way to accommodate you .a real lover of dogs especially when on good behavior.will talk to you about the alpacas . although campsite is a small site toilet and shower room are enough to cope kept well clean and tidy

Liked a very nice friendly welcome.staff go out of their way to accommadate you .any problems they will help you with .pitches are flat and the full campsite is beautifully clean.toilet block is immaculate .facillities for kids are good seperate football area to swings and play area .brilliant walks for dogs and a field to let your dog runaround in.the lake area (wild life)is also kept to a high standard

Liked The entrance is to the park was a beautiful welcome beautifully landscaped ,set the tone for the rest of the park,we could not believe how impressive the park was.staff very friendly and helpful .The pitch was well maintained and flat,toilet block was out of this world ,facilities well stocked up .entertainment for families was brilliant

Disliked The track up to the site needs attention as pot holes are very severe not just for vehicles but also for people staying their for walking down ,more so at night. I know its a working farm but to have easy accessible for guests.

Liked The area clean ,staff were friendly and polite .shop was well stocked first thing but very quickly ran out of fresh goods especially on weekends.Located 1 mile from the town very handy

Disliked The water facility lack of as there is only 1 point to fill water barrel and if you situated at the far end its a bit awkward. The toilet block was although kept clean by the cleaners was never checked by staff no loo roll for 3 days, and was vandalized mainly by children. Was reported to the cleaners they Saw it for themselves was quickly acted on then, the actual toilet area was too small had to straddle the pot to open and shut loo door and I'm only a small person feel sorry for bigger people. Although dog friendly there is no open space for dogs to have a run.can't take dogs into facility area so can't use passes to see entertainment .pitch area could be better marked out and more visible
